Weird -- because I can

I was going to use a really weird background with this entry but everyone I tried I couldn't find the right color text to use so it would be readable.  Darn it.

But I think I will still use some of the kind of weird -- or maybe down right creepy graphics that I have.  Why do I have them?  Who knows.  I get in strange moods every so often and have to save strange graphics.  LOL

Is this one weird, creepy or just strange?  LOL

I went to the doctor today and we decided it was best if I come off the medicine that he has me on.  I was having too many of the not so pleasant side effects.  But what to do?  Go back to a medicine that I have been on before that didn't really work so great?  Or don't go on another medicine right away.  Go for 4 to 6 weeks get it all out of my system and see what happens.

The last time we tried the "see what happens" route was not so great.  I was given the choice of moving back in with my parents for a little while (which ended up being around 3 months) or going into the hospital.  I took my parents house.  It was hard on everyone all around.  Mom (or dad) had to come twice a day to feed my cats, and......well it wasn't something I really would want to go through again.  Hopefully that won't happen this time.

If it does happen?  Well it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get meds back into your system and then you have to adjust the dosage up or down until something clicks.

Pray that won't happen.

But in other happy news.......mom is able to get around without the walker.  She uses a cane if she goes outside of the house.  I am really amazed at how fast she is getting over having a fractured hip.

Ok one last creepy (and face it, it is creepy) graphic.  This one oddly enough has my name on it.  Hope it doesn't freak you out too bad.

That's the tough thing with some of these meds.  Coming off of them is a harrowing experience.  I hope the Doc will find something that will be a compromise.

Geez, you're right the graphics are very wierd.

Ever thought about E.C.T.?  (commonly known as "shock treatment").  I've had it several times and it was a huge miracle relief for depression.  It does what no drug can ever do.  Just a suggestion.  Email me if you want to know more.

Ok, now I'm going to have nightmares on those graphics! I hope you can work things out. I know I had to stay with my folks for 9 weeks when I had foot surgery due to complications & it was not fun!

Kathy, I hope that things work out so you don't have to spend a lot of time decompressing from the meds. Good Luck. Keep us informated as to how you are doing and if we can be of any help by writing you notes. Let everyone know that. Regards, Bill.
