Sunday and what is on Maggie's mind?

This is my baby Maggie.  Well she isn't really a baby she's a little over a year old (I think.  When you adopt from the animal shelter age is just a guess).  So even though I haven't had her as long as I have Sophie they are roughly the same age.

This is one of Maggie's great stares.  I wish I really knew what was going on behind those little eyes.  What she thinks, how she thinks.......

Today I think this is what she is trying to tell me "forget about it" , "don't sweat the small stuff mom" ,"if it ain't life and death then it's small stuff".  I guess she is right.  Something has been really bugging me and it's stupid.  Just right out stupid.  And to let it take up space in this crazy brain of mine is ridiculous.  Letting something so small take up residence in my crazy little brain is just stupid.  I could use that space for something else.  Something amazing.  Yeah, something amazing could take place in the tiny little bit of brain that I am "sweating the small stuff" with.

Yeah, well, that's what I THINK Maggie is thinking and trying to get me to realize.  I could be wrong.  Reading a cat's mind isn't the easiest thing to do.  Well sometimes it is.  I got the "feed me" and "clean my litter box" looks down great.

My dad is ok.  He came home from the hospital late Friday evening.  He has an inner ear infection.  That is why he was having dizzy spells.  About 2 weeks ago he went to the doctor and the doctor told him that he had an infection.  Here's some ear drops use them 4 times a day for a week (or whatever the time was).  My dad buys the ear drops and uses them maybe once a day -- if his ear is bothering him.  DUH??????????? See anything wrong with this picture? If he had used the drops the way the doctor told him he would never had the dizzy spells.  Would not have had to gone to the hosptial, had tons of tests run.  Men (well, my dad) can be so stupid sometimes. grrrrrrr

Have a great Sunday.

I have a little black cat just about like yours...mine has a little patch of white on here chest.  She's 16 years old now and the biggest lover you've ever seen.  She's always in my lap when I sit down and if I'm in the kitchen working, she'll hop up on my shoulders and lay there and purr...I don't know why she loves me so much, but I do feed her, maybe that's why.  I love the unconditional love that our critters show, too bad we can't all be like that !  Enjoy yours !  I certainly do mine !  'On Ya' ma

Hi Kathy,
I hope that you are feeling better.
I have two dogs and a guinea pig...would sure be great to read their minds. or talk to them and be able to say, don't worry I'll be back.
Sorry to hear about your dad.  Drops are a pain.
Take care,
Donna

Cute kitty.
Men don't do a good job of taking care of their health... the older they get, the worse they get... glad it was just an ear infection.
Have a great Sunday!

Hope your Dad is ok and uses the drops they gave him.  Your cat is beautiful by the way.  Years ago I adopted a black cat from a shelter in New Hampshire.  She was one of the sweetest cats ever, I was so sad when she passed away.  Your Maggie looks just like my Beth did.  Hope you had a good weekend!
xoxo, Heather

LOL, I remembered to come back after I clicked this time!

Yeah, I think there's another deficiency in men...following professional medical advice. Put it up there with the "ask for directions" problem...
