I know NOTHING about this group or their endevor. It sounds interesting so I thought I would share. If you decide to buy something do so at your own risk. Do your own investigating before sending any money to anyone. This is raising money to learn more about Canine Epilepsy .
As of today October 20th we have presold 457 calendars. and we know
that there are still checks in the mail . I haven't had a chance to
update the list of buyers on the calendar page of the web site. I
hope to do that tomorrow. For newcomers this is our big fund raiser of
the year. We are a 501(C)(3) Non profit organization so any
donations are tax deductible. If you don't want a calendar we will
also accept donations :-) our non profit org goes under the name of
Epil-K9 Foundation Inc.
If we can make it to 500 calendars we can order 50 extra and get
the high volume discount. This is for such a very good cause .. We
are using all of our profits this year for the research being
done at North Carolina State University into why so many dogs need an
added drug on top of Phenobarbital to control their seizures .
Their web site is
http://www.canine-epilepsy.com/CarolinaEpilepsyProject.htm Many of
our list dogs are participating in this exciting research.
The amazing thing is that several of the researchers are purchasing
calendars as well as donating !!!!!!!!!!!
Please go to http://www.canine-epilepsy.com/calendar.html you can
view the calendar
and and find out how to pay for it either via PayPal or by check
money order . We have many orders from Europe and Canada and several
from Australia, and of course the majority from the USA.
We still have money in our donor advised fund at AKC/CHF for the
next round of donations to the University of Minnesota who are part
of the consortium with the U of Missouri looking trying to find the
marker gene for inherited canine epilepsy. AKC matches us dollar for
dollar the same as breed clubs.
North Carolina State will be also seeking a grant from AKC/CHF in
the near future.
Thanks to everyone who has donated money and bought calendars

I do not recommend or endorse this product. I am just sharing information that I received through an email that came through a graphics group I am in.

Right ...thanks for that lol ,.,.,Jan xx
cool thanks for sharing a good cause
Our Siberian Husky/Greyhound had a grand mal seizure just last week, out of the blue. The vet could find no cause or subsequent damage. We're praying his seizure was a fluke, and will be his only one.
Wonderful cause!
oh poor doggies!!! people dont realize that animals share our diseases. and need annual checkups..
Glad to see another animal lover!!

I did a search on this foundation and didn't find any negative information. Maybe I'll take a deeper look to see what they actually do with their money. Regards, Bill
