Dad wanted me to go with him to help buy a new tv. Even though I hate helping him pick out big items I agreed to go. The trip wasn't too bad. But as I knew was going to happen I had to try to help him chose which one to buy. (I hate that because if he ends up hating it, then it's my fault )So he has me looking at remotes to see which I think is the easiest to use. I try to tell him that you can always get another remote. No, he doesn't want to do that. While I am looking at one, he comes stands behind me and looks over my shoulder. I HATE that! He always does that, and I ALWAYS tell him to give me room.
So, he buys a tv. We get to his house, and the tv is too heavy for him to carry. I knew that was coming. He gets one of those hand truck things and puts the tv on it. Something told me this wasn't going to turn out good. I tell him to go to the front door instead of the back (steps to go up ya know) but no, gotta do it his way. Guess what! You got it, the tv falls off the hand truck. Mom is standing there and don't know what to say. I told her that the tv is probably packed good and is ok. But I am a coward so I leave BEFORE they open the box to see if it is ok.
update: dad called and said the tv was ok. I still can't believe it! Guess they do pack them pretty good after all.

LMAO! Now if it were my grandma, sure I would've stuck around. But if my dad did something like that, you'd better belive I'd've torn out of dodge too! LOL!
