I remember dreaming of this when I was little.
Hey, I was just a kid.
A kid that would look for any excuse not to go to school.
There is a school in North Carolina that is on fire.
Yup. No worries all the kiddies got out safetly.
The school (from the newscast) looks pretty well destroyed.
And they won't have to go to school tomorrow! Or the next day? Or? Wonder what does happen to classes when a school burns down?
Oh, come on. I know that when you were little and didn't want to go to school the next day you wished the school would catch fire, or get blown away in some freak storm.
As an adult you can see everything that is wrong with this picture. But as a kid.......

ESPECIALLY THE DAY OF A TEST...
I remember wishing my school would explode WHILE I was in it...but I was a pretty sad boy back then.

I saw that fire, and because it wasn't a major disaster, I allowed myself to chuckle a little about just that thought...a whole bunch of kids saying "yayyy!"
