it's raining men, hallelujah, it's raining men......

It was just yesterday that I wrote that it was so overcast
that it should just go ahead and rain.  Be careful of what
you wish for!  LOL  It has been raining all day long.  Really
heavy at times.  I guess in the long run we always could use
some rain.  So I shouldn't complain. Right?

I really need to take more pictures of the kitties.  But as
soon as they see the camera they start moving around.  Any
way.......they follow me like little puppy dogs at times.  Like
right now I am in the spare room where I keep my computer.
Sophie and Maggie are in here curled up sleeping.  If I get
up and go into another room they will come in there.  Really.
If I go to the bathroom they both come running.  Go into the
living room and in they come.  If I go towards the kitchen
Maggie will do everything she can to beat me in there.  The
kitchen equals food for her.  LOL

AOL is doing a lousy job lately of keeping spam out of my
in box.  They also sent me an email telling me that I have just
downloaded the new 9.0 editon.  Well duh.  I did that ages
ago.  Tammy said she got an email like it also.  What's up
with AOL?  It's free so they are just letting everything go?

Went to the thrift store the other day.  Walked out with
more books.  I have so many books now that I don't think I
could possibly read them all.  But I keep buying.
I have ran completely out of bookcase space.  All
my bookcases are full, packed, no space what-
soever.  Thus there are books everywhere in
every room.  It's a bad habit I have.  I do read
and sometimes I read quite a lot, but I tend to buy more
than I can read.  Oh well.........

Glad everyone liked the mouse tag I had in my last entry.
I do tend to like stuff some folks might think of as strange.

I don't know if you have realized it, but there are plenty of
links in my about me column.  Yep.  Can't see them?  I didn't
hide them.  Most (not all) of the graphics over there are
clickable links.  Just run your little mouse over them and see
what you can find.  I need to do some more work over in
my other columns, update and stuff like that.  I will get
around to it someday.  If you ever find a link that doesn't
work be sure to let me know.

That's it for now.  Take care.  Don't forget to come in out
of the rain (yea, I'm talking to you there.  you, the one who
likes to call me names.  LOL)

My Mom swears her cat will growl at people who walk by the house. He likes to sit in the front window. He also eats breakfast with her every morning. He eats from one side of her cereal bowl while she eats from the other. This from a Mom who made us wash our cands and comb our hair before we could come to the table and eat. What is the spell that cats have over you female people?. (HaHa) Regards, Bill.

I used to get zero spam. Now I get it every day. Not much but still. AOL needs some of my meds. Come to think of it, so do you. Tammy

I'll happily take any books you haven't room for.  Yea, same spam problem here, keeps going to the inbox istead of where it belongs.  It's raining in Jersey too, damp wet humid.  Lovely.  xoxo CATHY

Your entry made me smile.  I love books too and sometimes tend to buy more than I can read.  But lately it's been my girls needing books for English at school.  We've been making quite a few trips to the bookstore lately....I should really hit the thrift stores like you said.  Great idea.  Try and stay dry!  Big hugs and GBU, Shelly

my dog follows me from room to room too. Books are wonderful. Maybe someday you will be able to read them all. It has been sunny in IL. today and it was great.

Hi Kathy :-) I love the rain background, it's great!!! We've had a mixed week, weather wise, boiling hot one minute, which is unusual for Sept here, then pouring rain, with awful thunder and lightning the next!!! I need to take some more pics of my cats too.....Pepper is 10 months now and I've not put any pictures on of her since she was a baby!!! Shame on me!!! I love books too, I've got them everywhere lol....on shelves, in cupboards, in the loft (attic), by the side of my bed, oooh I could go on and on!!! Have a great weekend :-)
