don't hold it against the hog if his neck isn't as long as the giraffe's

What happened to summer?  It's September already and the weather is cooling off.  I know that time goes faster the older you get, but I'm not that old! gesh.....

Alerts still aren't working.  And we don't know for how long they will be out of service.  Hey how many of you remember J-land BEFORE we had alerts?  They weren't always with us you know.

I have an idea.  Most of J-land joined groups way back when.  Remember?

Why not post at the group(s) when you have a new entry?  This will cut down on mass emails.  At the groups you can decide on how much mail you get a day. Are most of us still members of the groups?  I think it would be great to make use of the groups if they are still up and going (and I think they are).  If you aren't a member just request to be one.  What do you guys think?

I signed up to do this 9-11 "adopt a victim" thing ( 2,996 ) It is a great idea and I think they have met their goal of having all 2,996 victims "adopted".  I thought we were to post our tribute on 9-11 (which is Monday I think) but I got an email from them saying to go ahead and post anytime between now and then.  EEK, I don't have the entry quite ready.  I have the facts on the guy I am to write about but I wanted some great graphics to gowith the entry.  I have found several but was holding out for a few more.

I'm telling you all this because after this entry I may make a few blank entries then post the special 9-11 tribute.  The blank entriesI will fill in later with whatever I feel a need to talk about.  The goal is to keep the tribute as the top entry until after 9-11.  But I guess with the alerts not working you won't be rushing here to find a blank entry!  LOL

Yesterday I heard this horrible noise coming from the next room.  I was on the phone so I told them to hang on I needed to check out what was going on.  It was HORRIBLE! Horrible I tell ya.  I about freaked out.

What was it?  Sophie (my poor furbaby) had hacked up the biggest most unbelievable hairball I have ever seen.  Made me sick!  I couldn't just leave the stuff in the middle of the floor but it made me sick to clean it up.

Oh hope you weren't eatting when you read that last paragraph.  Sorry folks.  Hey at least I didn't take a picture to share.  LOL

Take care everyone.  Weekend is almost here.  Behave.  Yes that means you, and you, and hey you over there you too!!!

poor baby and the hair ball sometimes they can be yucky. yeah I hate the mass emails from ones that I dont visitsome are using the emails as a way to drum up new readrs. Like one lady sent me an email saying she did an entry alert so six others on ther email list hit reply all and sent emails to all of us saying they did an entry. its fine and dandy if your a reader but from from someone who I never read or dont kow it gets a bit over whelming
