It's just a stupid soap opera!!!

So my "soap" Passions hasn't left NBC quite yet.  But towards the middle of September it will be moving to DirectTV.  I won't begetting DirectTV just to keep up with a dumb show.  Now what was I going to say......Oh, on today's show Theresa is in the hospital room with Ethan (who is in a coma -- poisoned strawberries that were meant for Theresa by her "dead" husband, but of course Ethan ate them), who is on oxygen -- lights candles in the room.  Are you following all of this?  LOL  Anyway who lights candles in a hospital room?  And with oxygen going at the same time?

Smack me on the side of my head: IT'S A SOAP OPERA STUPID!!!!!  I have to smack myself from time to time while watching the show.  Soap opera's don't always fit reality.  And with Passions resident witch and "demons in the basement" why would anyone think twice of things like this?  LOL

Got word from my medical doctor about my blood work.  Sigh.  Everything (well just about) is high.  But his concern is my triglycerides.  Huh?  Ok I read up on it and still am like Huh?  Anyway Dr wants me to go to my GYN to see about stopping my HRT (hormone replacement thearpy).  I don't know how good of an idea that is.  I guess I'll go to my GYN and see what he says.  But I see problems coming if I stop the HRT.

I am also being reviewed by the long term disability insurance people.  I hate reviews.  I know I can't work, heck the entire world probably knows it but I still have to prove it from time to time and it's scary.

Ain't life fun?  ha ha

Here's a cute link someone sent me: 25 worlds weirdest animals.  I don't see "anyone" I know from J-land on there.  I don't post my picture for fear someone would spot me on a list like this one!  LOL

Love ya,

Kathy

I'll check the link later ... to see if I'm on that list!  Hope your insurance review goes well.  Such a pain.

I've missed your many links.  I always like them and pass them on.  I don't watch soap operas but for sure I'd not get dish to watch it either.  I really don't watch much tv at all.  Take good care.  'On Ya' - ma

Man, I love Passions, the crazy stupid show that it is, heck im addicted and i hate that its going to direct tv, I wont be getting that either. But i think its so messed up that they are doing that, obvuiously to make more money, but what about the fans who have been watching it since it started? whatever. I heard that this week was the last week before it goes to direct tv.

Hope it works out with the HRT, I wouldn't go near it myself.  There must be alternatives; I'm just handling things as they hit me lol.  Those odd-looking animals were true adaptations of their environs, thanks!  xoxo CATHY

I have not watched a soap opera in what seems forever.......I do not understand why they would move it to satellite.....it would seem that a solid audience would be gone.....there is too much on satellite to settle for a soap...then again what do I know....
Love the links
take care of you

Hey there, I'm back from the dead. LOL, check the name of the head writer/producer of Passions, and you'll know why it's so dumb sometimes.

Hope all goes well with the doctors. I know how annoying conflicting information can be.

Try not to worry about the disability case coming up.  Just calmly fill out the form and you should be able to keep your benefits.  Also, if you need help, have a therapist or psychiatrist help you, or back you up with a letter stating your case.  That is what I do whenever I get a review.  Okay, whoever reads this will now know that I am on disability, LOL!  BTW, I am bipolar.  High functioning, but nonetheless, bipolar.

You will be fine with the disability review- worrying about it won't help. I'm really asorry about your bloodwork, and I did have to go off HRT, though it wasn't as bad as I feared. Hope you can stay on, though. Hang in, Margo
