I shouldn't complain about not feeling well. Lots of people worse off than me. I realize that. But didn't I tell you that I can handle pain, but if I'm sick I think I'm dying? So forgive the baby in me.
My poor nose! I can't breathe hardly. I have known for a while that I am more likely than not allergic to at least one of my babies. And I think I have been handling it pretty well.........but today! Whatever the heck the doctor shoved up my nose yesterday has made things worse. This is worse than any cold I've ever had. And one side of my nose has showed some blood (don't ask, you don't want to know). So I am in my poor pitiful me, I'm dying mode. Hopefully I will yank myself up by my bootstraps and act the adult I am. But I don't have any bootstraps.........
Whenever I can get back in with my medical doctor I will get him to send me for another opinion on the tonsils. Why? Do I want them yanked out? NO!!!! LOL But I've been thinking on how he said they were almost touching........and there have been some days when I can't seem to swallow my meds. Oh I know that happens to everyone on occassion........but since he said that my tonsils were practically touching it has gotten me to wondering if they could cause problems in the future with taking my meds.
Right now I just want to find something for my allergy so I can breathe. And don't say get rid of the cat(s). Ain't gonna happen. Nothing like trying to sleep with a stopped up nose and having the reason why you can't breathe curl up and go to sleep on top of you........LOL
I'm slowly coming out of my sleep-coma so hopefully I will get back on line more often a little at a time.
Oh, Andi you are old enough to remember the drive in movies! Can't believe you say you have never been! They were so much fun back in the day...........

If you don't feel good then you just don't feel good, personally i whine like a baby too. i hate being sick as i am sure everyone does. Whineing is to be expected. Don't worry about it hun everything will get better, and i don't blame you for not wanting to get rid of your babies i wouldn't do it either
Did you try Claritin? I can't take it but everyone else seems to love it. Makes me sleepy.
I can only have tabby cats. I'm allergic to the others. However, many people think they are allergic to the cats, when it's really the cat litter they are allergic to. Did you change brands?
I take Claritan D. One pill a day. It helps with allergies towards cats and helps with colds.

Girlfriend---I have been where you are many many times.....being sick is a bummer...
I would have the tonsils removed as a MAJOR last resort....that used to be such a regular procedure but now many medical experts say that you need those lil buggers to fight bigger infections...
NOW...the clariton works for me....really give it some time...at the beginning I did not notice anything but after taking it for a while if I missed a day or two ...I could notice a difference and then it hit me how much better it was controlling my allergies...
I so HOPE you start to feel better soon...POSITIVE THOUGHTS and many prayers being sent your way...

I am also VERY allergic to cats and dogs...but that NEVER stopped me from having them...

((((((((((((((((((HUGSTOYOU))))))))))))))))))))I pray you feel better soon.I hve always had a problem with swoling anything,I have acid reflux.But since the Doc just put me on steriods,just for the time being,because I been without my Arthitis shots.They been helping me eating bettter and swoling better.But I also know that Steriods can be very dangrous.Dont ask me why He gave me 2 refils.Oh yeah,I been to a Drive in movie before,I lvoe it,when I was younger.They had few left.I hope you have a nice night.
I think you can whine and cry all you want in your own journal when you feel miserable! I do remember drive in movies-went to a lot of then over the years. And of course you are going to keep your furbabies! Margo

I don't know how I came by your link, but I am here and find your blog pretty interesting. Or very interesting. You will think I think something is not quite right with that description. I was interested in your brother's remarkable attitude after being hit by a drunk driver. We would have had to take most of my male relatives guns away from them. I also find your links interesting. I am going to check one out as I leave here. You also have a good sense of humor which I love in a journalist. I am at the stage where my family cannot get through to me because I am online. I told them to send me e-mails and I would immediately respond. They find that disgusting.
