My mom has been complaining about her hair for awhile now. The person that used to cut it moved and is just too far to go to so mom and I both have just been letting our hair grow. About a month ago I went and cut several inches off mom's hair and it looked pretty good -- even if I was the one to cut it! But she's been complaining and wanting it shorter and wanting her bangs cut short (they are (were) about the same length as the rest of her hair).
Mom won't let dad trim her hair but for some reason that I can't figure trusts me to cut it. What do I know about cutting hair? NOTHING, nada, zip. So I cut several inches off her hair a month or so ago, but it was just straight across -- well, we said it was straight except for a little chunk of hair here or there -- mom still wanted ME to do something.
So today I went and did my best (which isn't the greatest folks) and cut more hair off my mom's head. She and dad said it looked ok, me? I have my doubts. I mean, if I really thought I could cut hair mine wouldn't be in a pony tail right now!
Seriously, it did come out ok for a home cut. I didn't try to cut layers or anything. Just cut off the bottom and tried to keep it even all the way around. And it does look ok. I like mom with longer hair but I tried to do what she wanted.
Sophie, my little baby. She hasn't sneezed at all today! Yeah! Dad came over yesterday and today to help get a pill into her. She wasn't thrilled, and while she didn't try to bite dad she did fight opening her mouth today. My poor little baby. I had her wrapped up in a towel (to keep the feet under control) so dad had to try to open her mouth and throw a pill in. LOL It had to have been funny to watch. Yesterday Sophie took off after getting the pill, today she let me hold her long enough for dad to give her some kisses before she took off.
The vet said pills for 3 or 4 days. We have covered 3 days but I am wondering about giving her a pill tomorrow -- just to make sure. She was sneezing like crazy yesterday but nothing today. I don't want to stop the meds too soon only to have to start it back up next week. Guess I'll just have to ponder on it.
The weather is so warm. You would almost think summer was about to arrive. I have the back door open so my girls can go on my teeny tiny little screened in back porch. My dream is to one day be able to afford to have the back porch enlarged so I can sit outside with the girls. Right now there is no room.
Had I realized how much I really love having a back porch would mean I wouldn't have bought this house. Or maybe I would have. I don't know. I was in real deep depression when I bought this place. I don't remember looking at it or buying it. I have pictures of me at the lawyers signing papers but for the life of me I don't remember any of it. Mom said she tried to talk me out of buying this house and looking at more but said I wouldn't. I'll have to take her word for it 'cause I don't remember any of it.

I would give her another pill to be on the safe side. Sebastian has been well for awhile now and I still watch him and worry. Tammy
My daughter trims my hair too. I hate the beauty salon. They never do it the way I like it. And, if I do find a hairdresser that does a good job, they always move away.
I'd ask the vet if you should continue more meds to be sure.

we are hoping to get a porch swing this year soon as it warms up and we get the roof on. Man I have always wnated one. Its great your mom lets you cut her hair that is something to trust you with. I hope sophie will be okay mymom is upset as she may have to put her molly down
Give Sophie another day's worth of pills -- just to be sure. I bought my house while on Prozac -- and was probably to blissed (back when that drug worked) to notice how many problems the structure had. Oh well. That was over a decade ago.

(((((((((((((((((((((((HUGSTOYOU))))))))))))))))))))))))))Sounds like you had a busy week. That is so nice of you to cut your Moms hair, she must trust you enough that She doesnt want to go to another hair cutter, that She doesnt know of.I hope Sophie will get 100 percent better,so,She wont have to take thoes pills anymore,I know it isnt any fun for Her or you or your Dad.lol.If I may ask,are you married?Do you have kids?Hae a nice day.
ditto a couple of the other comments, give her another pill. If it were me and Heathen or Kissy I would either of them also. Heathen goes thru these little episodes of sneezing, most of them are allergies, but believe it or not sometimes it's when his diabetes is acting up...go figure lol. I hope she is feeling much better!! Hugz, Teresa
I'd give Sophie another day of pills to be on the safe side. Can't hurt right? Have a good night.
