I'm still here. So are my furry little babies....

As you can tell I haven't lost power.  In fact the weather men/women got it mostly wrong.  Woke up to a little snow.  It would stop and start but never got more than a "dusting" on the grass.  Later on we got a little sleet/rain/whatever but it didn't amount to much of anything either.  Don't get me wrong I believe the roads will be nice and slick tomorrow morning, but we didn't all the snow or ice that they were leading us to believe would come.  In fact they probably could have held school today.

I did pretty much spend the day as the cat above is doing.  Not a lot on to watch.  I taped the finale of Top Chef last night so I watched it today.  I pretty much disagree with the judges on this one.  First I wanted Sam to win, but they sent him packing last week.  So I am thinking that I just don't like Marcel (did anyone like him?) so let Ilan win.  But while watching the show Ilan came off as a big baby to me and all he seems to be able to cook is food with a spanish twist to it.  As much as I didn't like Marcel I found myself hoping he would win.  He didn't.

If you like to watch tv you should check out this article: North Jersey Media Group providing local news, sports & classifieds for Northern New Jersey!  You know how you watch a show and think "that isn't possible" or "what the heck are the writers thinking"?  This article lets you know you aren't alone.  It's great (and funny).  And if you have seen the show "Lost" you know this is so right about Hurley.  LOL

doesn't she remind you of "That Girl"?  LOL

My Granddaughter called me today from NC. She had a day off for a snow day. They thought it was mighty funny, since they came from New Hampshire where tons of snow falls, and there, an inch would NEVER mean a day off. : )

Glad you kept your power. : )

I loved the article-it is so true and  even worse, they assume we buy it. And we do. Silly us. CT continues to have occasional snow flurries, bits of sleet, but no real winter(not that I'm complaing, exactly, but would like one real snow storm this winter.)

Our weather was not anywhere near what they predicted.  The hardest hit area was just a bit north of us.  Not much, so I am grateful we did not get the really bad stuff.

We didn't get the snow we were supposed to get either.  I'm glad about that.  Have a good one.

All is clear here except for the cold. But they are calling for another one. Let's hope this one is the same. Prayers for Florida. Tammy
