My little corner of the world has finally gotten some winter weather. NO, this photo is from here.
I got the photo in an email with tons of ice covered things from over seas somewhere. I know that ice can be deadly, but I think it is just so very pretty.
I did wake up to some snow an a little sleet today. It's always so pretty when things first start to get covered. Not much snow is left but there is tons of water around which I know will be ice in the morning.
Maggie still isn't her usually self. I worry, and was thinking of calling the vet again and maybe even a trip there. She ate about 2AM this morning. Nothing all day yesterday and nothing since. But I thought I would try 1 more thing to see how she was feeling before I called the vet.
Maggie was sleeping on my bed. I go into the kitchen -- Sophie is already in there eating away -- and with out saying a word I pick up a small can of tuna and open it. Before I have the top all the way of the can here comes Maggies slowly walking in........before I can get the tuna on a plate (nice paper plates for my girls "fine tuna dining") I have 2 cats rubbing at my ankles. Maggie chows down!!! Sophie is having some good "grub" too but her paper plate trys to walk everytime she takes a lick. Maggie put her foot on her plate to keep it from walking away. LOL
Oh yeah, I feel better. I have never given them tuna before (I know I am a mean mom. Rarely if ever do they get human food), and for Maggie to come in go to eatting it just did my heart good. Can't tell you how much better I feel about her now. I think we will wait another day before calling the vet. And the girls will have another "fine tuna dining" experience later tonight when I give them the rest of the can of tuna.
AOL gave me a fit last night. I had tons of email that I couldn't see. I had the fix but had problems getting the right screens to come up and open. So mad!
Today my email groups are sending tons and tons of Valentine graphics. I HATE Valentine's Day. Despise it, loathe it. It isn't good for anything. Well, I guess it helps keep Russ in a job......

My cat's won't eat tuna! Once in awhile. Human food, forget it. Fish! Chicken! You name it and they turn their noses up. Picky picky picky!
I'm so very happy that Maggie seems to be feeling better Kathy :) That's a good thing!!! I really like both of your pics on your entry today, very pretty... about St. Valentines day? I wasn't keen on it myself till Cindy came along...in fact, I kinda hated it. I hope Maggie keeps improving in leaps and bounds. Teresa
good to hear the purr
Don't feel bad I am maried and my husband and i both don't like valintine's day we just treat it like any other day. and i am glad to here your kitty is starting to do better having a sick animal is just as bad as having a sick child.
I don't have a sweetheart in a romantic way. But, my son was born on Valentine's Day, so I always tell him he's the BEST Valentine present I EVER got. And it's true! So I like Valentine's because of him!
Love your ice picture.

And I'm at work right this very second. Tuna is okay for cats once in a great while, but fish of any kind isn't good for them....which is probably why they love it so much.

Awe! All she wanted was holiday dinner. LOL!
I'm glad Maggie is doing better and taking her food today. The picture of the ice on the tree is very interesting. It loo pretty cool, actually.
