This is Sophie. She doesn't look very happy in this picture for some reason, but trust me she is a very happy kitty.
I would love to enter her in that contest I mentioned an entry or so ago -- I think she could could win fluffiest tail -- but I can't find a catagory for her "breed". She's a mix of who knows what which usually puts cats in the "american shorthair" breed. But she has long hair. Would she still be the american shorthair? Everything else mentioned is pretty much a full blooded breed. Oh well.......she knows she's beautiful with the world's fluffiest tail. Sophie doesn't need to be "awarded" the title! :)

This comedian made me laugh last night. He said you think you have a cat as a pet, sucker! The cat is just taking you for room and board. LOL!
Both of my cats are short-haired, but I've always loved the long-haired beasts with big tails!

Sophie is a beautiful kitty :) I know that Heathen and Kizmet run the roost here...the puppies aren't sure what to think about them yet, the cats tend to stay in hide mode still when the puppies are around, but it's funny when you see them come face to face ~ Heathen is like "whatever" and Kizmet is "omg what ARE you??" the puppies are it's Lares looking at Draco then at the cats, then at Draco again and he's not sure what the heck it is he's seeing ROFL...you have to see it, it's a hoot. Sophie is just lovely and obviously the queen of all she surveys. :-) I can relate. My cats consider me their "staff" I am to do their bidding and nothing more. What else is there to do but tend to their needs. LOL

My cats use us to keep them warm, too. This week, Billy just waits until either my daughter or I go to bed and pull up the covers, then he dives under. Sometimes it's his daughter, Tinkerbell who is there staying warm by my stomach. It's not just for food:) And, yes, Sophie is a beautiful cat. I had Ashes years ago with a similar face and profile, but grey. -- Robin
