Sunday, bad day

Here are 3 TRUE links for you.  I haven't had any of the stories to hit my inbox yet, but I guess it's just a matter of time.  These links take you to snopes.com which separate the true from the hoax.  And let me tell you sometimes the true sounds just way too stupid to be true sometimes as you will see here:

Urban Legends Reference Pages: Storm Worm

Urban Legends Reference Pages: Discount Mat Rude Response to U.S. Soldier

Urban Legends Reference Pages: Hitman Bribe Scam

The weather here is lousy.  The streets look wet but are really icy.  Nothing good on the TV, I have food but am just to lazy to cook it.  Guess it's the weather or maybe not, but I have been hit with some bad depression.  I was doing better and then yesterday morning out of the blue I started feeling down again.  Today is worse.

I am so behind in my journal reading that I just hit the "mark as read" on the google reader for over 100 entries that I haven't read in the past couple of days.  I hated seeing that big of a number.  Even some of the posts that I read I couldn't tell you what they were about.

I think I should stop watching TV when I am like this.  It seems like everyone on every single show has a better life than mine (oh I know they are just actors on made up shows)  I know I am not making an sence, but that's ok -- when do I ever?

I ordered a pizza yesterday.  Guess I'll go reheat some of the left overs even though it's not what I want.  I have no idea of what I want, I just know it's not here and the weather is too bad to go anywhere.

Seems like everytime I talk to mom there is more that she is forgetting.  Or sometimes she hasn't forgotten but it takes a while to come up with the word she is looking for.  She's afraid her doctor will put herin a nursing home.  I've tried to tell her that the doctor can't do that, it's up to me and dad and we aren't doing that.  She just doesn't seem to understand.

Hi Kath, I wouldn't be without snopes.com for some of the things I've heard lol.  I have a book on Urban Legends, and the NJ ones are the best - think I'll post a few!  And hey, you make alot of sense! and having that many unread entries can make them start to seem like a chore, so  actually I decided after so many alerts clogged my mail (over 550 once) that I decided to turn off the email and just use the pop-up alert - and of course, just click on the Journal sites I have listed on my own.  It's ice cold here too, brrrreezy wind.  Glad to see you back, stay warm! xoxo

Sorry to hear that depression is creeping back in on you today.  It seems to be a minor epidemic among people I know.  Hopefully the weather and your mood will brighten tomorrow.

Maye you need to force yourself to go to the mall or out to a movie.  A change of pace might brighten the mood.  I hear ya on the alerts.  It takes awhile to catch up if you let them gor for a couple of days.   :)
