I didn't know that posting some forwarded mail about Iraq was going to upset so many of you. I quess I am just too dense or stupid. I did not look at it as propoganda. All I saw was funny captions to some pictures. Either I am just to stupid to see what you saw or you guys need to lighten up. For goodess sake. Does everyone think that you can't take a picture of the military in a light hearted moment and have some fun with it?
I will take the post down. It never occured to me that people would be offended. I promise it will not happen again. Maybe that journal was a huge mistake.

Kathy, I'm sorry people took offense (I am presuming they did by this entry) I agree, people often take things toooooooooo seriously and don't THINK themselves!!!! Not everyone looks at a subject, no matter what it was/is in the same light. Life is too freaking hard as it is without the melodrama. I didn't get to see the entry, I wish I had, I was having troubles with my computer and AOL. I hope your day brightens up :) Blessings, Teresa
oh dont take it down its your journal and well I enjoyed it. thats why I said we shoudl be abused like that. I guess sometimes its hard to see humor in email sor something but dont sweat it sweety

Perhaps I took it all too seriously. I didn't mean to upset you (which is never my intention with anyone), and apologise.
Personally Kathy, I liked the post. I think the other side is believing in the propaganda. Be that as it may, either way, don't not have a journal based on other people's opinions. Who cares what other people think. Stand firm on your opinions. Do not allow others to force you to take your posts down. Do not allow others to change your beliefs. You have as much right to your beliefs and posts as they do. If they don't like your posts, they don't have to look at them. It's called clicking off the X.

It's your journal..write what you like..there is a red X button there for a reason... if this was your written journal you wouldn't take it down... i am a Military wife and it sure didn't offend me...;-) it's called sense of humour people...

Put what you want , its your journal. .. but a bit of advice... Telling people to lighten up, then apologizing seems a bit sarcastic...but who cares what i think. write what you want. its just a joke right??? ok im shutting up now... Dont send me hate mail..im innocent. !!!

I actually got those pictures in an email a few days before you posted them. I remember thinking at the time that there may be some people out there who wouldn't like them. I may be just a bit off the wall, but I actually thought that they were a very touching and humorous way to highlight the good, personal and intimate things that the soldiers are doing in Iraq. I am sorry that you got negative comments.
