December is finally here. Where's the cold weather?

The weather here is starting to feel more like fall.  Maybe
we will get to winter by January.  LOL

My brother called my parents yesterday to see if they
had heard from his oldest daughter.  Long story when it
comes to the oldest, well, long story with 2 of his 3 kids.
Anyway dad tells him he really needs to come see mom
(with the way her mind is and everything).  Brother dear
says he can't afford to come (he lives about an hour or
     so away).
::insert string of curse words that would make
a sailor blush::  Makes me so mad.  Any other time he would
say yeah I'll come but you gotta give me gas money or
money for something or another.  But since it's mom's
     health?????
::insert string of curse words that would make
     a sailor blush::

Of course I shouldn't be shocked.  Brother's wife is a
total ::insert string of curse words that would make
     a sailor blush::
also.  When her mother was dying of cancer
she wouldn't go visit her because if she did she "would have
to clean her mom's house". ::insert string of curse words
that would make a sailor blush::
SIL didn't go to her mom's
funeral either.  She was afraid of what the family might
     say to her.
::insert string of curse words that would make
     a sailor blush::
If it was my mom I would have went to
clean the house and gone to the funeral and whatever
any family members had to say they would have to say it
on the floor through missing teeth.  I mean really!

When mom fell and hurt her him the brother did come for
a visit.  And left with $300.  So I guess we know why he
came to see his sick mom.

Brother dear makes so me mad.  If I had my way he
wouldn't even know when mom and/or dad passes.  And
as often as he changes his phone number he may not hear.
My dad has brother's phone number tucked away some-
where but I don't know what it is.  I don't want to know it.

Oldest niece is going crazy.  Friday or Saturday morning
the police showed up at her place and arrested her boy-
friend.  I'm missing some details (she spoke to mom) but
I do know that the boyfriend is supposedly an illegal.  Now
I don't know if that is why he was arrested or not.  But
I'm guessing it could be reason enough for him not to
be able to come back home.  He'll be sent home to Mexico
I'm guessing.  Niece is really upset.  This guy isn't good for
her - reguardless if he is Mexican or American - he is
trouble, that's the only kind of men she seems to be
    attracted to.

Guess that's it.  Hope you can read the text over this
      really cute background.

Nope, couldn't read the text. But I do have and eye infection, so that could be the reason. Hard to see with one eye. : )

So sorry to hear all this...FAMILY! Ugh! I know. Being the oldest I spent so much time over the years helping everyone & then when I need it...everyone is too busy! Ugh. Seems there is always at least 1 in every family! Well, it makes for an interesting life..ha! Not boring at least! Hope things get better.

The cold weather is in Northern Ohio today !  Brrrchill!  I'll be praying for your family - prayers certain couldn't hurt them.  Don't expect immediate results though I've been praying for one in my family and it took almost 4 months !  But thank the good Lord, my prayer was answered.  'On Ya' - ma

Wow, sounds like there is a lot going on in your family.  Sorry your brother is such a, well, taker, I guess.  Uhmmm, as far as cold weather, it is freezing over here, you can have it!  It has snowed like twice, and is about 20 degrees outside right now.

Hey Kathy...I know how the family situation can make you feel like cursing enough to make a sailor blush lol but gurl you just gotta remember everybody don't think like us and some of us missed out on the day God was handing out compassion and selflessness.

Anywho....much luv is being sent your way

I have a brother who lived one and a half hours from my parents. My Mom would call and leave a crying message on his machine pleading for him to come home that his Dad was in the hospital and good old brother would drive by the house on his way to Atlantic City and not stop. Mom has lived here for 7 years now and he hasn't been here yet to see her. If she is lucky he calls once a year. Libby likes the bears on this entry. Regards, Bill.

yep I think I would put in swear words too. How awful. I would do anything for my mother. Some people. At the end of Nov. it was 60 here in IL. On Dec. 1 we had 12 inches of snow and cold weather. LOL. I miss the 60's already.

I'm sending Kansas City's cold weather your way.  You'll hate me for it!  Just cuss, child -- it feels good.  If I haven't been TOS'd in 2+ years for typing swear words then I think you can unload a few f & s bombs as needed.
