does your chewing gum lose it's flavor on the bedpost over night?

I am getting used to using backgrounds and feel funny not using one.

Today is a beautiful autumn day.  The weather is really nice.  The trees are getting decked out in color (or running around naked).

For the first time (since I have gotten Maggie and Sophie that is) I opened my back door to let the kitties out.  Don't panic, it is a screened in porch.  It is a really small porch (big enough to set a kitchen chair on but you would have to move the chair in and out every time you shut/opened the storm door).  My other cats used to love it out there.  It used to have some of that green icky outdoor carpeting junk on it (there when I bought the house), I ripped it up last year sometime but wanted to get the porch scrapped down and repainted before I let the kids out.  I didn't know how old the old paint was and I was afraid it could have lead in it and didn't want to take any chances.

Maggie slowly made it to the door then turned and ran back into the kitchen.  She finally made it out and onto the porch.  Took Sophie even longer, she wasn't so sure that this could be a good thing!  LOL

After they were out there for a little while I came back in the house.  A few minutes later I went back to check on them.  Sophie came slinking back into the house.  She acted like I had caught her doing something bad.  LOL

I know they will enjoy the fresh air and all the outdoor smells.

I guess you probably already know that John (of John & Krissy) had to be taken back to the hospital.  He is pretty sick.  You can read more about it here: John And Krissy.

Oh, and there is a teacher out there that wants our help with a school project.  This is something I know everyone in J-land can do!!!!!  Cost you less than a dollar!  Go read about it, go to your journal and let all your readers about it.  Lets flood this class with postcards!  And if any of you guys "across the pond" can send one that would be great too!

I need a favor from some of the wonderful J-Land Community......

Teachers are hero's in their own ways so lets all work together to make her students think she's the greatest thing since sliced bread.  LOL

I love candy corn and when I saw this graphic I had to grab it.  Makes my little life sound kind of pathetic doesn't it?  That a little weird graphic of a piece of candy corn can make me happy.  So what if I'm a toddler in an old woman's body?

Thanks for all your concerns about me feeling lousy yesterday.  I still feel bad but not as bad as when I wrote that.  I'll live I am sure.  I told Tammy that I hate being sick because when I get sick I think I'm dying.  I can handle pain much better.  With pain I may want to die, but don't feel like I am actually dying.  I'm a big baby, I know it you don't have to tell me.

Hope you can read this font ok.  Since I didn't use a background I thought I would play around with fonts!

aren't deers a beautiful creature?

Last Friday Evening of September

Just little old me again.

I feel lousy.

The past couple of nights I have had some strange dreams.  Can't really call them nightmares but they were really vivid.

I have felt tired and just no good for a little while.  Yesterday I started in with a headache that I couldn't get rid of.  I still feel a little of it today.

Then I started getting chills.

Oh great.  Getting sick.

Maybe.

Maybe not.

I'm on some new med (well I have been on it for about 1 1/2 months a month of it on full strength) so I'm thinking maybe I should read about the side effects.

Side effects: Kathy's got 'em.

So am I getting sick? Or am I feeling the grand old side effects to the medicine?

You're guess is as good as mine, but I'm guessing it's the med.  But I could have caught a virus of some sort.

Either way I feel like crap.

Gonna put the pj's on, curl up in front of the tube on the couch and maybe one of furry ones will come keep me company.  Maybe.  Cat's can be so strong minded and independant.  LOL

Kathy

Sorry, had to use background with this announcement!

        My fiend....er  friend...Tammy

Did you know that some jelly fish don't have brains?

Ok so I think the last background spooked some of you.
So today I picked a "happier" background.  Has nothing
to do with halloween -- it's just kind of bright and cheery.

I'm really not all that much into halloween this year.  May-
because I am getting old(er) and have no kids.  Not even
getting excited about all the great graphics that are
    floating around out there.

Well to be honest I do kind of get all happy about the black
cat graphics that are coming out.  I have always thought
black cats were beautiful but now that I am owned by 2 of
them they are even more special to me.

October is almost here and that is also Breast Cancer
Awareness month.  So ladies if you haven't already go ahead
and call to set up an appointment for that mamogram.  I
know it isn't the greatest thing do but it is very important.
Also be sure you click to help fund mamograms for poor
women.  You can go to my "clicks" journal and find a button
there.  It's free.  All you do is click on a button.  I have
other click for a cause free buttons there also.  Here's the
     link  ---->>>
Daily Clicks

Guys be sure to tell the ladies in your family to get
checked.  And you can go do the fund mamograms daily
click too!  Don't be bashful.  No will ever know and you
could save someone's life by helping to fund mamograms.

My aunt's house still hasn't sold.  I have really been hoping
to have it sold before winter.  I don't think anyone is
buying houses right now.  It is costing money just sitting
there.  We have been keeping the electic and water on.  But
just recently decided to cut the water off.  Thank good-
ness the house was paid off years ago.

I will make a better entry soon.  Tell you all about the
stuff that goes on in my boring little life.

bet you don't like this one either

Ok so everyone thought the last background looked more
like a baboon than anything scary.  I dare you to say that
about this one!  Oh yeah, take a look, take a good look:

Now tell me what do you see?  No baboon's here!  This
has got to more spooky.  I don't know that I like it so I
will probably never use it again.  It amazes me the strange
and weird stuff you can find for backgrounds/graphics.

Actually the entire "find anything and find it free" world
wide web thing amazes me.  Of course I understand that
you can't believe all you read -- or see -- on the web, but
      it still amazes me.

I'm still working to update my Help Journal.  Most of the
stuff in it is still good and 90% of the links are good.
One of the best journals I refered to alot was deleted
somewhere along the way.  I hate that he did that.  So
I am having to find other places or try to come up with
answers myself. Uh Oh!  LOL  The link to the journal is
over there to your left somewhere.

Take care.  Hope this background doesn't give you any
       nightmares!

      Kathy

face from beyound.........oh scary. LOL

Halloween is just around the corner and I have been looking
for some kind of cool backgrounds, something a little
different.  I have found a few "weird" ones, and some that
are a little "horror movie" spooky more than cartoonish
spooky.  Don't want to use anything really bloody or
gory.  Don't want to scare you out of your chair.  How do
you feel about this one with the face?  Or can you really
tell what it is if I don't have text over it?  Just curious.

Nothing to really write about now.  Just wanted to try
out this background.  Sorry if you ran here from an alert
just to find out I have nothing to say.

I will leave some of the background showing so you can
see what it really looks like:

This one is from Russ

Found this over at Russ' place

This could become a tag if anybody wants to run with it.  I dunno.  I know such a wide variety of people with interesting lives -- even though I'm not a very social person.  Some are just people I talk to on rare ocassions, some are people I work with, some are close personal pals, some are family members -- but I know them and they know me.  These are not 'net friends...but if you want to do this tag there is no rule which says you can't use cyber buddies.  Ready?

I get a newsletter from Snopes.com every so often.  The most recent one had some great stuff.  I decided to post some of the links here.  I am only sending you the TRUE stuff and NOT the hoaxs.  I don't want you to get confused with the two.

The first one is one you are going to get mad over.  And I don't blame you.  If I hadn't seen it on Snopes.com I would have never believed it.  The guy should be fired and then hanged (sorry, I'm still mad about it)

A rant. Not THE rant, but a rant all the same

Sometimes I wonder why it is (or so it seems) that some
people can just sail through life without any major
problems.  How some seem to live life to its fullest.  How
some don't inherit all the physical problems that is handed
      down from generation to generation.

My brother was born with a birth defect.  Doctors told
my parents that it was nothing they did wrong.  It was
something inherited.  They told the doctor he was wrong
this "defect" was no where in the family.  Then at a family
reunion when my brother was in his late teens early
twenty's they saw it.  A distant cousin had the same thing.
See, doctors were right it was inherited.  But it didn't
happen in a "straight line", it was more in a "round about"
      way.  But it was there.

Same thing can be said for mental illness'.  More likely than
not if you have a mental illness chances are you will find
a family member (or lots of family) that has the same
illness or something simular to what you have.

The thing is that family will admit to having "passed on"
some genetic defects but they won't admit to having any
mental illness' in the family.  Why?  I had someone the
other day tell me they don't blame people for not wanting
to admit they could have passed on this gene.  Why?  I
don't understand this and quite frankly this really pissed
      me off.

I have a mental illness.  I KNOW it is inherited.  I KNOW
there are family members with the same type of problems.
I KNOW from which side the family it comes.  So why
when a family member is approached about the illness
being inherited they totally lose it?  Refuse to discuss it?
And after they calm down they will admit that "so and so's
daughter" has simular problems (but she is just crazy.
remember how she acted as a teen).  But to look at them-
self and just admit that yeah it could have come from me
is something they aren't willing to do.

And then to have someone who is your friend say they
don't blame them for not fessing up?  Bet you wouldn't
have said that about any other illness would you?  Maybe
being my friend is harder than you thought it would be.
Maybe you don't want to "see" my problems.

Folks mental illness is just like any other physical illness,
you just can't see it.  You could see my brother's "defect"
(but thanks to some doctors that worked miracles you
can no longer see it) but not mine.  Everyone will admit
that his "defective" gene was in "in the family".  But no
one wants to admit to my "defective" gene being in the
        family.

Well screw you!  Don't admit it.  I have plenty other
inherited problems (high blood pressure, high colestrol)
and even this horrible bipolar disease.  I know where it
came from.  I am not blaming anyone.  Crap happens.
You never know when a baby is born what it might inherit
and from who.  But to just flat out deny it is wrong.  You
aren't protecting anyone.  You aren't helping anyone.

No, this isn't the rant I wanted to do the other day.  But
the more I thought about something that was said to me
the more I had to get it off my chest.

Maggie and Sophie are meowing their hello's

It's Wednesday.  Which means several things here at the mansion. Yeah I know.  A man's house may be his castle but my house is a mansion.  Mansion's have indoor plumbing and servants.  I prefer to have the indoor plumbing so therefore the place I call home is a mansion.

Wednesday is a very noisy day in the old 'hood.  It is trash day.  And there isn't a dog in a 10 mile radious that will not let you remember that.  It is also recyling day.  Strangely enough the dogs could care less about the curbside recycling dude.  The worst part is during lawn cutting season.  Across from my house is an empty lot (or two depending on how you look at it.)  It belongs to the city, and every Wednesday they mow it.  They mow EARLY (beat the trash pickup guys), and they have to mow 2 or 3 at a time.  Each using these huge mower things that make more noise than should be allowed early in the mornings.

So with all that there is no way to "sleep in".  Even the cats run from window to window trying to see what the heck is making so much noise and why.

Why am I telling you all this? No real reason.  Just sharing my early morning hours with you.

Because I am still trying not to rant I have decided to do some old fashioned J-land pimping.  Ok?

This person is fairly new to the community.  She just started in August.  Writes some lovely poetry.  Check her out:   Living With Autism

David lives in a very pretty part of Colorado.  Some great pictures and in his last entrysome really cool stuff for "lexophiles" ( what the heck is that? gotta click and go find out:  Sunshine Colorado Notes

This next lady lives in the United Kingdom.  She appears to be a foster mom and needs some advice.  I'm not sure all things work "across the pond" but maybe you can still be of some help:   Where ever theres a witch theres a way.....

D has been making some great entries lately on memories of his mom, nana and others.  Check him out here:  Celebration of My Exhistance

Guess that's about it for now.  The kitties have been trying really hard to help me with this entry. (Maggie has tried to type and Sophie has been moving the mouse around)  They try to help whenever they can.  LOL

I know that none of the graphics in this entry "go together", but they just seemed to want to be used this time and who am I to argue with them?

no rant, house fire, welcome to Jeff's new diggs

I was going to rant this entry.  I had it all worked out in this crazy brain of mine.  But then I decided what the heck? No one wants to hear it.  No one will understand it.  I tend to ramble when I rant.  What good would it do?  It would just make me look more like the crazy person that I am.  So no rant.  At least not this entry.  If it builds up again I may have to vent.

Just found out yesterday: my cousin (that lives around the NC coastal region) house burnt down this past Friday.  They had just moved into this year.  It's all gone. Nothing left.  They were thinking of moving to be closer to her mom (who has been really going downhill since G killed himself this summer), but I really don't think they wanted/needed this to happen.

The fire started in the kitchen.  S had left something on the stove and went outside and forgot all about it.  Sounds like a really dumb thing to do, but also like something any of us could do.

Everyone is ok, people fine and I am assuming all the animals are ok.  They had a bunch of hunting dogs and last time I saw them they the dogs in pens.

Just when you think you got it bad then you hear of something like that. S and her husband loosing everything.  Their kids are grown and out of the house so I guess that's a good thing.  S has like a million brothers/sisters that will end up being a big help to them I am sure.

Oh almost forgot.  Editor Jeff has now offically taken over (now) ex-editor Joe's journal.  Go over and give Jeff a really warm welcome.  And check out the granny with a machine gun video he has posted.  Go Granny!!!!!  ------>>> click here

Adding Music to your Journal

I have had several people write or leave comments on how they add music to their journals.  I have not tried any of these.  But I am making a post here (so I can refer to it in my Help Journal) showing several of the ways I have been told.

If you are brave and try to use any of these methods please leave a comment saying which worked for you or if you are still clueless.  Ok?

**************************************************

Stuart's instructions:

1. Load your music up on to the web - say your FTP space

2. Go to the edit option of the entry (or the ABOUT ME section)choose html

3. Here is the code you use

<IMG height=1 loop=infinite dynsrc=
http://www.cnetwork.co.uk/ALMSGIVE.MID width=1 autostart="true">

The bold red text is the source file. Height and width are 1 because you don't want anything to be visible.  loop=inifinite means it will play on and on and on..........change it to a number if you prefer. Like 1 or 10 or whatever. dynsrc is the htm command to download the source file and autostart = true is self explanatory I hope.

So just copy the above code and replace the red with the actual location of the music you want to play.

Just remember the bigger the file the longer the delay before the music loads and plays.

*******************************************

Astra's way:

First of all...go to "keyword" type "FTP" and click "my FTP space" where you have to register first...FREE. just follow instructions from there, it is straight forward...if anyone gets stuck i don't mind helping...when i got to CD or MP3, i clicked CD for the full music

This is the link below in the block to put in "all about me" section. go to  "view as" on the left of the screen, then click on "text" and then click "HTML" and insert the link below, but remember to put your own screen name and the name of the music you want uploaded ( must upload to FTP first )
I do hope this is of some help!

<img dynsrc="
http://members.aol.com/YOUR SCREEN NAME/REMOTE FILE NAME.mp3" autostart="true" loop="infinite" width="1" height="1">
<b STYLE="font-family: tahoma; font-size: 10px; position: absolute; top: 130; left: 150;">~~Music by www.i-petz.com~~</b>

ok here you go...  try this.  Upload the midi file to file manager.  Not in the image folder you may have but the first screen

Once it is uploaded go to the about me section.  Change the format to say html not text
and paste this code..

<IMG height=1 loop=false dynsrc=http://members.aol.com/USERNAMEOFFILEMANAGER/NAMEOFSONGEXACTLYwidth=1 autostart="true">

This is the code from mine
<IMG height=1 loop=false dynsrc=http://members.aol.com/nightmaremom/helplesslyhoping.mp3 width=1 autostart="true">

Once you have select save.  It will do the rest.  It may take a few minutes to play but it will :)

other tidbits sent by Sugar that came from Nightmaremom:

Upload the mp3 file to file manager.  You don't want it to large as it will slow the loading of the journal.  I went with about 2 minutes long.  Once the file is uploaded.  Go to about me and edit.  In HTML mode paste in the following code.  Then click save.  The file name has to be exactly as it is in the file manager.

<IMG height=1 loop=false dynsrc=http://members.aol.com/username/Filenamewidth=1 autostart="true">

*********************************************
also shared by Sugar (not sure who she got this one from)

1.  Go into your journal entry (blank one), and before you do anything change the "Text" box at the top to "HTML".

2.  Then click into the  journal entry you are doing.

3.  Now, I am assuming you saved the music you want to your ftp space right?  If not, go to keyword:  "My FTP" and then "See My FTP" space.  Once there you hit "Upload" and then name your file.  VERY IMPORTANT, always name your file with .mp3 after the name, such as bonjovi.mp3.  Then hit "Continue".  It will bring you to a screen where you can "Select" or find your music you want to upload.  Find the music and double click it.  Then hit "Send" and it should start uploading.  Once done, you can move on to the next step.  It may take at the longest with cable modem or broadband 5-7 minutes.

4.  Okay, you are still in the "HTML" area and you are in the entry section.  You need to paste this code EXACTLY as I have it(except change my "pookyluvsu" to your name and change the name of the song to whatever you named it).  I have highlighted the ONLY thing you need to change in this code.  EVERYTHING listed here HAS to be put in, so just copy it ALL, including the < and the > part:

<IMG height=1 loop=false dynsrc=http://www.members.aol.com/pookyluvsu/bonjovi.mp3 width=1 autostart="true"></FONT><FONT face="Arial Narrow">&nbsp;</FONT></FONT></FONT>
or you can use  .mid for music instead of  .mp3!

5.  Okay, once you have done this, you go back to the "HTML" box and click it to "Text".  You should hear your song start immediately, or it may take a few seconds because of the upload.  Then start typing as you normally would in your entry.

6.  If you have any other questions, let me know.  It really is easy, as long as you upload the song to your FTP space AND use the code that is exactly as it is above.  Good luck!
**************************************
extra tip from nightmaremom:

I think the trouble is when they upload to ftp site it doesn't put the ext on it.. so it says name of song.   The code however has nameofsong.mp3.  Once they upload they have to make sure the file name is exact as the code, including .mp3 so it has to be renamed

Let me know how this works for you guys!

Howdy everyone.  Welcome to another Monday. Yep it's Monday again.  Real excited about that.  Really.  LOL

There is lots going on in J-land these days.  Guess you already know about them but I am going to remind you anyways.

Our beloved Joe (AOL Journals: Magic Smoke) is taking another position at AOL and will be leaving as editor.  Don't worry though because he is leaving a great guy (Jeff) for his replacement.  You may already know Jeff (AOL Journals: Pixel Pusher), he has done the "editor's pics" the last several weeks.  I have emailed with him and he seems like a really cool person.

Next we have something going on that I think has been mentioned before (years back) but now someone is brave enough to try to make it a reality.  A J-land Convention.  Oh yeah!!!!  Go and see if you are interested and maybe you will want to volunteer to help out. ---->>>   J-Land Convention

Now the next reminder is the upcoming VIVI 2006 edition that is coming up.  The VIVI awards are all taken care of by people here in J-land.  NO ONE that WORKS for AOL is involved in anyway shape or form.  You may see an AOL employee help promote the awards but that is all they are involved.  To see what is going on go here --->>  2006 VIVI AWARD JOURNAL

**Right now they are in the nominating phase.  I have been nominated before (but never won.  boo hoo.  LOL).  So go find a category that sounds like me (best use of graphics, animated graphics, best journal, best she has no clue.....) and nominate me.  I'm not proud.  I know I won't win but I want to be nominated!  Isn't that what they say?  Just proud to be nominated?  LOL

Ok, so don't nominate me, but participate in some shape or form ok?  The more the word gets out and the more people that participate the better the awards will be.  We need the nominees to come from all over J-land.

Guess that is enough for one entry.  And speaking of graphics......I got a new little siggy tag.  Hope you like it as much as I do (wish I could make these things but I can't):

yeah its another rat.  but it is a Lady Rat!!

****update.  right now you are not "nominating" journals, you are recommending journals that may or may not be put up for nomination.  Got it? You recommend journals.  Later the nominations will come out for you to vote on who you want to win.   (I get my wording tangled around one of the little wheels in my head and my fingers don't correct it when it comes out......LOL)

music in journals

I am trying to update my help journal.  So much new stuff have been added to our journals since I first created that journal.

I do need some help.  If you have ever done an entry - or know of one -- about adding music to journals would you PLEASE leave me the link?  I have a link to John's journal but it seemed to confuse everyone that left comments.  I have never tried to add music so I don't know anything about it.

If you can do it but have no entries on it would you make an entry? Please?  It would be helpful to so many people.

I'll let everyone know when I get the Help journal updated.  It may take me a little while as some of the old links that I was using have been deleted.  I so hate when you have great info and then someone deletes their journal.  I'll live.  Just have to find another place or write the entry myself. (and you really don't want me to try to write out instructions! LOL)

another tag

I got this from firestormkids04 who got it from someone else.  Please enjoy:

Type the first 2 words that come into your mind...you can only type 2 words....no more....no less.

1. yourself:  insane one

2. your husband: got none

3. your hair:  sucks majorly

4. your mother: alive & cranky

5. your father:  alive & cranky

6. your favorite items: computer, books

7. your dream last night: too weird

8. your favorite drink:  iced tea

9. your car:  ford mustang

10. the room you are in: spare room

11. your ex boyfriend/girlfriend:  got married

12. your fear:  alone & old

13. where you want to be in 10 years:  not alone

14. what you're not:  totally bonkers

15. your best friends: just online

16. one of your wish list items: make friends

17. the last thing you did: washed clothes

18. what are you wearing:  jeans, tshirt

19. your favorite weather:  spring, autumn

20. your favorite zoo animals? tigers, polarbears

21. your thought for the day?  get through

22. your favorite book:  horror, mysteries

23. last thing you ate: steak biscuits

24. your life: alone, boring

26. your body: not skinny

27. what are you thinking about right now:  tag sad

28. your crush:  sayid -- Lost

29. what are you doing at the moment: anwering this

30. your fall schedule:  got none

Ok, everything was to be answered with only 2 words.  That was hard for me.  I feel that I must explain parents.  They are both cranky because they are both dealing with/getting over mom fracturing her hip.  But this is a good thing -- sort of.  It means that mom is feeling better and wants to do more for herself.

Crushing on Sayid the guy on Lost.  The dark skinned guy who is supposed to be from Iran?

Any other crazy answers in because I'm in one of those poor pitiful me moods (don't worry it will pass, they alwaysdo)

Your turn now.

Ericka's Mom has passed

Some of you may know Ericka.  She was one of Pamela's Chemo Angels.  Just a few months ago Ericka's father passed away.  Yesterday (Sept 15th) her mom passed.  This is a very hard time for her.  Having lost both parents in one year has got to rough on anyone.

Please go pay her a visit and let her know that you are thinking of her during this painful time.

Here's a link to her place --->>>Dreamweaving

Thanks so much everyone,

Kathy

it's raining men, hallelujah, it's raining men......

It was just yesterday that I wrote that it was so overcast
that it should just go ahead and rain.  Be careful of what
you wish for!  LOL  It has been raining all day long.  Really
heavy at times.  I guess in the long run we always could use
some rain.  So I shouldn't complain. Right?

I really need to take more pictures of the kitties.  But as
soon as they see the camera they start moving around.  Any
way.......they follow me like little puppy dogs at times.  Like
right now I am in the spare room where I keep my computer.
Sophie and Maggie are in here curled up sleeping.  If I get
up and go into another room they will come in there.  Really.
If I go to the bathroom they both come running.  Go into the
living room and in they come.  If I go towards the kitchen
Maggie will do everything she can to beat me in there.  The
kitchen equals food for her.  LOL

AOL is doing a lousy job lately of keeping spam out of my
in box.  They also sent me an email telling me that I have just
downloaded the new 9.0 editon.  Well duh.  I did that ages
ago.  Tammy said she got an email like it also.  What's up
with AOL?  It's free so they are just letting everything go?

Went to the thrift store the other day.  Walked out with
more books.  I have so many books now that I don't think I
could possibly read them all.  But I keep buying.
I have ran completely out of bookcase space.  All
my bookcases are full, packed, no space what-
soever.  Thus there are books everywhere in
every room.  It's a bad habit I have.  I do read
and sometimes I read quite a lot, but I tend to buy more
than I can read.  Oh well.........

Glad everyone liked the mouse tag I had in my last entry.
I do tend to like stuff some folks might think of as strange.

I don't know if you have realized it, but there are plenty of
links in my about me column.  Yep.  Can't see them?  I didn't
hide them.  Most (not all) of the graphics over there are
clickable links.  Just run your little mouse over them and see
what you can find.  I need to do some more work over in
my other columns, update and stuff like that.  I will get
around to it someday.  If you ever find a link that doesn't
work be sure to let me know.

That's it for now.  Take care.  Don't forget to come in out
of the rain (yea, I'm talking to you there.  you, the one who
likes to call me names.  LOL)

There is a new one! Hurray!!!!

Hello everyone.  Hope you have been having a really nice day.  For some reason if feels like a Saturday to me.

There is a new journal in J-land.  I think most of you will like this one and will able to put it to some good use.  It's called "Help Wanted".  Have you been looking for something? A book? A recipe? Trying to find out what the heck that is growing in your backyard?  Looking for advice on what kind of thing-a-mm-bob you should buy?  Well this is the journal for you.  No I don't believe the author of the journal has all the answers but she will post your questions/requests and hopefully someone else reading it will be able to help you.  I think it is a great idea whose time has come!  So go check it out and maybe you can help answer some of the questions!

It isn't raining here but it has been overcast for days now.  I am ready for some sunshine!  Or if it has to be overcast why not just rain?

My cats are starting to work together to get what they want.  This morning Sophie comes and gets into bed with me.  I hug her and start to cuddle and she gets up and leave me.  She does this several times.  To get my attention? To make sure I am awake?  Then it is Maggie's turn.  She comes and sits by the bed and meows.  Then Sophie gets on top of me and then gets down, then I hear Maggie meow.  This keeps up until I can't stand it anymore and I get up and they run to the kitchen.  Food.  They want to be fed.

I don't starve my babies.  There is always dry food down but that just is not good enough.  Actually I think Sophie prefers the dry food but she will work with Maggie to get me to put down canned.  Sophie takes one bite and then heads for the dry food.  I don't know how Maggie got Sophie "wound around her little paw" but I am not a huge fan of this tag teaming me!  LOL

Take care.  No sig tag at the end of this entry.  I put it up on the upper side.  I really like it and think it looks better there than way down here.

I know they are many more tributes out there but finding a list that is easy to copy/paste here has been a job!

If you particated in the project please copy this tag into your entry (it will make it easier to find that entry):
