Not a happy camper

See this picture?  The one of the cat?  That's my sweet Maggie.  (The picture doesn't do her justice.  And my flash lightened her beautiful green eyes.)  The picture wasn't taken yesterday but that is almost the exact face she gave me yesterday morning.

Why such a stare?  Well I knew one of the kitties was having some poopy problems and I had finally figured out she was the one.  So off we go to the vet.

I don't know about dogs, but with cats if there is a poopy problem the vet brings out this long blue stick thing that has like a needle eye at one end.  What does the beloved vet do with the blue stick like thing?

When he is going after a sample.  And if you have to ask you don't want to know.  If you know then you understand Maggie's stare!  Not a happy camper!

After all that drama we find out that she has a little infection and needs, ::gulp::, a shot.  A shot in the hip area.

Shots hurt.  And after the blue stick thingy the LAST thing a cat wants is to see that needle coming at her!  Dr B tried to hide the needle behind his back until just the right moment.  But Maggie felt it when he stuck her.

Mad? You betcha.  Dr B gave her a moment then picked her up and gives her a huge hug and some kisses.

Maggie loves hugs and kisses.  So she forgave Dr B.

But she still gave me that stare!

LOL, been there done that! I have a male cat that looks like her. Actually I have several male black cats. Sebastian, my yellow long haired had to go to the vet last week. He got a shot. He wasn't happy but he was still. He's a sweet baby. My other cats however.....

I think I would not want to have to give a cat a shot. Regards, Bill.

I would rather take an alligator to the vet's office than one of my cats!  They hate it!!
