Thursday before the 3 Day Weekend

I have finally decided to turn most all my alerts off.  I will keep a few -- some people post like once a month so I like to keep those alerts active.  It's just too depressing to have a mailbox full of alerts and no time to get to them all.  And a lot of times there could be 4 alerts from one person so I don't have as many journals to read as I thought.

So I will keep my list and try to visit everyone on it as often as possible.  Hope you understand.  I may go back to all alerts one day but right now I am soooo over them.

I am so ill at my computer.  My other one had Word but it was so much easier to use than what I have now.  I have WordPerfect Office 11.  First off I don't need office and secondly every time I try to get it to alphabetize something it says I have too much and to use a smaller amount, then it freezes up and says something about a crash and wants to send an error message to Windows.  I HATE IT!

I still have all the CD's from my other computer so I thought I could just upload Word from one of them.  Can't.  Don't know what I am doing wrong but I just can't find it or the program I was used to using for photos.  I have the CD's I just can't locate what I want on them.  Gotta be something I am doing wrong.

I am reading this true crime book about a murder that happened in SC a few years back.  Turns out the guy that pulled the trigger was someone I used to work with!  I really didn't know him that well, we worked for the same company and I basically just saw him around.  It is so weird to have been around someone that murdered someone.

Actually he is the 2nd person I have known that killed.  When in my mid to late teens one of my brother's friends was arrested for killing his wife.  It was so strange to see him on the tv for murder.  His parents ending up raising their 2 children.

Guess that's all I got for now.  Take care.  Since this weekend is Memorial Day I thought I'd use a patriotic sig tag:

I mean friendship is kind of a two way street and with taking care of my parents and my granny yes I totally agree with you the alerts can be overwhelming. I even unsubed from some lists. the tag groups I ll join back up on when I get back wel lyorus (I like the set up on it I dont really like the ones where they send you a link those are hard to keep up wtih I tell ya and it takes days to get off the group list or for sme to stop using the old email links I like the groups but dont like the email set up and I was the only one who objected so I got out voted) anyway.......... I am not happy with my new pc either but its the new set up ke sera serah!!!!!!!!  I guess I have to live with it

I went to a meeting once about why people murder, etc. I was sitting next to a very nice looking man......tall, dark and handsome. Little did I know while I was enjoying talking to him that he was the speaker and the murderer (reformed). Yikes. I got the creeps for sure.

Sorry you can't get the programs in your comp. I usually put the programs I like from my old comp into this one which is almost three years old and not as good as it once was either. I like Microsoft works and not Word. I can't figure out Word.

Hugs,
Angela

I have to keep my alerts off and just visit because my PSP group fills my mailbox.  No problem; visit when you get the chance.  I get so upset when things don't go right with the computer.  Drives me nuts.  Love your patriotic tag.  HUGS  Chris

I LOVE true crime non-fiction.  I think my favorite was about Andrew Cunanan (the gay guy who murdered Versace).  I also read a few about that Canadian couple who kidnapped, raped and murdered teenage girls.  I've read a few that left me destroyed enough to throw them away.  I don't dare read stuff like that these days.
