It sounds kinda weird to say "Happy Memorial Day" But I guess the fact that we are celebrating the lives of those who died for our country can make it a happy day instead of down day. Think all you want about what war(s) were wrong or right. The bottom line is men and women DIED believing in our country. Now that the draft has long been gone these men and women are making that decision -- to fight -- all by themselves. And in this day and age they have to pretty much know that they will have to fight. Knowing that and still inlisting takes more guts than I will ever have.
I got nothing else. Just these graphics:

Yes, I understand...I think the happy part comes from so many folks being "off". LOL. Like me.

TY for the post. ;)

Yes, I kind of feel like you do. It's hard to say Happy Memorial Day. I feel so sad for those men and women fighting in Iraq right now and hope no more are lost to us and their families and friends.

I know I thought the same thing about saying Happy Memorial Day because it's not really a happy occasion; more somber than anything but everything seems to become a "happy" holiday. Love the graphics...especially the Wall. HUGS Chris
Have a great memorial day and I thank the men and women who fight and die for us.
