Roses and 5 things I Hate

Mom and I went over to my aunt's house to take some pictures of the house and my aunt's roses.  Aunt E must have LOVED the color purple because there were lots of purple roses!

I am not a photographer, but I do know that this picture is out of focus, sorta.  I took several pictures of this one rose because the wind kept blowing every time I hit click!  Made me so mad.  Guess I'll go back one day and try again.  I have more pictures but I haven't printed them out yet.  I hope they show up better than this.

Now on to what I started yesterday.  Five things I hate:

5 things I hate

1  cat litter boxes, and the fact that my girls can't seem to cover what they leave in said litter box.

2  that I haven't found my talent yet.  everyone supposedly has something they are good at.  I got nothing.

3  people that act like they know everything when in fact sometimes they don't have a clue to what is going on.

4  one of my city's recycling "laws".  you don't have to recycle if you don't want to.  but you can't put boxes in the trash like you used to.  you can break them down to a certain size (and you must have more than one box) then tie them together and put out for the recycle people to pick up.  you don't have to do this -- but it is the only way you can get rid of boxes.  garbage man won't pick them up anymore as they don't want them in the dump.  anything else that is "recyclable" you can throw in the trash and not recycle, but not boxes.  and what is the deal that you can't put just one box out for the recycle people?  if you get a new tv you will have only one box, but you have to wait until you buy something else before you can get rid of it.  how silly is that?

got off on a rant there.  sorry.  back to list

5  that i don't have the natural red hair i should have been born with.

I don't know why I have this sig tag.  But in a strange way I kinda like it.  The butcher dude looks like he should be in a horror movie -- or at the very least on America's Most Wanted.  LOL

You do have a talent that I can see. You know how to show LOVE and KINDNESS. Let me tell you something, that's a rare talent. Oh sure, people can love their families and friends most of the time but they don't show it often enough. But you're the kind of person that shows love all of the time. You're a giver and givers are rare. Giving love is giving your time and attention and you do that. God gave you the gift of showing love. There is no greater talent.

the picture of the rose is still pretty even though the wind kept on getting it. That thing with the boxes is just dumb. Geesh. Sounds like a lot of work getting rid of a box.

I think your talent is pretty much right in front of your damn face, girl.  WRITING!  Sometimes the computer keyboard does not inspire people -- go to the office supply store and buy a cool notebook and maybe some funky pens.  When I'm stuck for ideas -- I'll scribble randomly and try to make a little picture out of the scribbles.  And then a story will come from those scribbles.  My dingy little office is stacked to the ceiling with notebooks and sketchbooks filled with stuff like this.  You might write something that you decide to run with on pure inspiration!!

I see your talent in every post you make.  You do a great job in expressing all kinds of emotion in your writing and that, my friend, is a talent.  :-)

You're right about the butcher graphic.  Horror movie material for sure.
