Real quick entry

Gotta run but I wanted to let you know some good news.

My mom's cat Patches is alive and apparently her blood tests came back looking like that of a  5 year old cat!  Not bad for a kitty that is over the age of 15!

Seems here problem was some bad teeth.  Dr B pulled 4 of them! Ouch!  That was why she wasn't eating and losing weight.  And we thought she was dying!

Dr B says she can have anything to eat that she wants and he loaded her up on antibotics just to be safe.  Woo Hoo!

Mom is on cloud nine.  I'm off to see Patches (and mom too).

Take care,

Kathy

So Happy! ;0)  Same thing happened to my lil poodle Puddin, had to remove ALL her teeth! She lived another 3 yrs (till she was 18).

We recently had a problem with my Mom's cat, Charlie. He got real sick and couldn't even walk. His body was not working well at all. To shorten this some, after all the tests and all the worry he got better. The Vet thinks he ate a scorpion. Glad to hear your Mom's cat is doing better. Regards, Bill.

That's one thing most people don't realize about cats -- they develop dental problems just like we do.  It doesn't help that they get really pissed off if you try to open their little kitty lips to check out the teeth!

xoxoxo,
