Hello again everyone. Can't decide if I
like this background or if it is a tad
scarey.
I did take my cat Dallas to the vet.
Well all love that. LOL The only way
to examine her is to sedate her first.
So he drew blood took a urine sample
felt for lumps, and even cleaned her
teeth while she was out. The only thing He could find
wrong was some blood in her urine. So we are doing a
round of antibiotics. And let me tell you that Dallas
just loves taking her meds twice a day. NOT My dad
has to come over to help get it in her.
Sadie has been back to the
vet also. Same old stuff with
her. She is doing ok. She is
such a sweetie.
I bought her another little
sweater that has a little
hood and guess what! She
will wear it. Even with the
hood up! Gotta get some
pictures for you guys.
My aunt is doing ok.
She seems happy where
she is. Sometimes you
can go visit and she seems like her old self.
Then other times she
seems like she doesn't
know much of anything.
We have started
going through her house
and taking out what theives might would want. And now
starting to just box up things. Guess we will rent a
small storage place for some of the things until we
make final decisions on it.

My vote=tad scaey! lol but now it's kinda funny, so...
glad everyone got a clean bill of health. the thing with you r Dady having to medicate Dallas reminds me of my little Chloe. Last winter she limped up onto the porch and I thought she might have been in a fight. I didn't worrk about her much, because if she ever got chased, she could pop over the back fence and hide with the Gerbies. They defended her regularly. This time some bully-cat had gotten hold of my baby and bitten her. When I picked her up, she was burning up with fever! It felt like she lad laid in the sun too long...even her fur was hot! So the doc fixed her up with antibiotics and some new pain medicine. I told him I could stand a lot of things, but NOT my babies being in pain. Ever. So he showed me how to give it to her, with the warning" one drop more and you could kill her." Great.
I didn't, and she got better. But from that moment on, she never trusted me when I had a bath towel in my hands. LOL.
Love ya like I love my poodle.
I love the background and the graphics. Have no idea how to put a background on my journal and it puzzles me where people find all these beautiful graphics because even spending hours on google, I cannot come up with anything half as good.
I can imagine your cat. My daughter dreads taking hers. She becomes a tiger (the cat not my daughter) and even the vets are scared of her. She is a tiny little thing and so quiet and gentle normally. Glad you have no serious problems with yours. xxxx
Enjoy the good time with your aunt while you can. Its like one day they just never happen. I like your background. You and I and our poor critters and the vet. We cant seem to get htem right. Lori

Oh yes, I know the joy of giving a kitty a pill. I dread the times I have to do that. Dogs a much easier to give meds to. Oh well, we'll figure out a way to get the meds to our furbabies. :-)
I am glad about your aunt doing better. Treasure these moments when she id doing so. So sorry about Dallas.
Glad the cats are well. This entry is very festive looking Sandra x
