The last couple of days has
been crazy. Where to
start?
I told you that the place
where my aunt has been
living wants us to move her.
We went to talk to her
doctor and found out why.
Evidently my aunt has
started wandering and
taking her clothes off.
Yep, my aunt took her
clothes off in the dining
room. She has also went
into a man's room and
flashed him.
Of course my aunt does
not remember doing
these things and thinks
people are lieing to here.
Then yesterday I get a
call that the home is
sending my aunt to
the emergency room.
Why? She isn't acting
herself and they had to
give her oxygen.
Long night at the ER to
learn nothing.
They did a cat scan this
morning but I don't know
what has come of it.
Still trying to find a place
to move my aunt to. It
is not as easy as just pick-
ing a place out of the phone
book. Even my lawyer is
having problems finding a
place.
So that is what has been
consuming my life this week.

awwwwwww {{{{{{{{{KATHY}}}}}}}}} I m sorry you know I have dealt with that twice the last few years . I know how time consuming it is and how much of your life and you it comsumes. I pray you find just the right place. lori
Sorry to hear that your last couple of days haven't been the best. I hope that they get better for you.
Love,
Kat
You are not alone in your frustration. A few years back I was trying to find a place for my mother to finish her days out. What an ordeal. My mother WAS NOT cooperative at all and then last month right after Thanksgiving we were going through the same thing with my husbands Dad fortunetly he was cooperative and LOVES his new surroundings. My prayers are with you that you find a place for your Aunt and Peace within.
I am so sorry you are having to go through this. It's a labor of love that you're doing. I've been through it so know how you feel. My prayers are with you and yours, K. Hope you find a place real soon. Turn it over to the One above when you can't deal with it anymore. Hugs...gloria
I am so sorry and am thinking of you, your Aunt, and your family. judi

i don't know if this will help at all but my brother had an identical reaction to some medication he was prescribed .. he kept taking his clothes off .. we finally narrowed down which medication was causing the problem .. of course we did this without his doctors help .. since his doctor was NO help at all
i'm sorry you're going through all of this :(

Oh Kathy I'm so sorry, hon. This must be driving you crazy. Feel sorry that you've got so much on your lap right now. It's hard enough to take care of ourselves, much less somebody who has some real problems. Keep praying and trusting that GOD hears me. I know HE will help you get through it all. It is just HARD! Wish I were near enough to help in some way. Hugs, *Barb*
I'm so sorry about all the problems u are having with ur aunt. I can tell u are having a hard time. *hug*
Keep your chin up! I know it is a tough job. So very much to consider for her health, well-being and safety!
I will keep you and your aunt in my thoughts and prayers.

The best I can do is send {{{{{hugs}}}}} and let you know I am here for you if you ever need to talk or just vent.
Hugs my friend,

I'm sorry to read about your Aunt's condition and the challenges of finding a place for her. It can not be an easy task as there is so much to consider in finding the right place, doing some research, going there, getting a feel for how the staff treats the patients....there's a lot to consider. I will add my prayers to your prayers that the right place makes itself known to you and your family soon.
Wish I was close enough to give you a bear hug.
Happy New Year!
Vivian
(((Kathy))) I hope things get resolved soon with your Aunt's living situation. Hang in there! --Albert
