I have had to take Sadie back to the vet again. Yea, again. I guess she is just going to have problems all her life. I hate it for her. And to be honest I hate it for me too. Today's visit was $89.00.
Sadie had been eating since we took her off the steroids. Well, she has quit eating again. She is down to 4.8 pounds. She had topped out once at 5.5.

Dr B took a urine sample but it didn't show anything. Sadie got really mad when he felt down along her spine. So did the x-ray thing again. Everything looked pretty much ok. But

So Sadie is up to 3 pills a day. One in the morning and 2 at night.

Got a letter from my health insurance people. They are refusing to pay for my last visit to my srink. I had permission from them but now they are dening that I had

Be persistent with the health insurance coverage, find out the facts of how many it says it will cover and try to remember details of being given permission. If you have insurance thru an employer, by law, they must give you access to a "Summary Plan Description". If you have it in writing, you can easily show that you get a certain number of visits. This permission thing happened to me one time in seeing a "specialist". I was actually told I didn't have to have 'permission' from the health insurance company to see the specialist if it was maternity, but they were wrong and did not want to pay for my global maternity situation (OUCH!) but I argued, wrote the CEO of the health insurance company (who called me personally to tell me they would cover), and copied the doctor so he could pull from me on their end. What a mess but the letter got everyone's attention. THere is an "insurance board" also that you can threaten them to report it too. Good luck.

The graphics are so cute. It really brightens up the page.
As for insurance -- it's the pits. I have battled them and continue to battle. If it gets really bad contact your state's insurance commisioner and lodge and official complaint and request an investigation.
Be persistent and get what you deserve.

Poor Sadie...! My Sheba was finally diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She's on medication, but she is still acting hungry all the time. I hope I can get her regulated soon and some weight back on her. I hope you can get there with Sadie too! Poor things. Heath problems are the pits! -B
