I am not that crazy lady.

While out driving around yesterday........

I am driving the speed limit, actually a mile or two over.  There are 2 police cars in the lane beside me, they are a little ahead of me but not too far.  I am speeding a tad so they are speeding just a little more than me.

This van is behind me.  Right on my tail.  I so hate when people do that.  And she starts blowing her horn.  I look in my rear view mirror and she is motioning for me to go faster.

She wants me to go faster.  To pass 2 police cars.  Is she crazy?  Does she honestly think that I am going to pass 2 police cars?  Really?

If it is life or death she should get in behind the cops and blow her horn at them!!!!

Naturally, I drop my speed back down to the speed limit.  And she freaks out.  After the 2 police cars turn off she zooms in that lane, and starts speeding even more.

Hope she made it in one piece.  Wonder why the huge hurry?  Why did she want me to get a ticket?  Oh, if I got pulled then they wouldn't see her speeding by?

I am not that crazy lady.

Everyone is always in a huge hurry.  It don't matter where they are going, they are in a hurry.  I hate to say it, but i am one of those people!! ~Holly

hey Kathy! I LOVE this entry. Sometimes I think I am the only one who thinks people are crazy on the road. Traffic was crazy when I lived in Florida near Disney.... but now I live in the 'burbs of DC and it is astonishing what these people will do. I have also learned to avoid diplomat plates like the plague... they can do anything to you in traffic and there are no repercussions for them!!
Great entry! Have  a good day! judi

Eh, crazy drivers out there.  I don't know what their rush is.  Everybody has to stop at the stoplight anyway!  I usually slow down even more when someone is tailing me.  If they're in a hurry, they can fly.

Just wanted to say hello after the comments you've left my journal a long time ago, never did return the favor.  Thanks for visiting.  I'll be back.  =P

I kind of feel (though I do try not to judge anyone), that it's primarily the people in van's and SUV's who drive the most aggressively. I almost bought an SUV a couple years back and I asked myself.."Why?" So you can sit higher than others and look down on them?
That killed the thought forever. I'm glad the woman passed you and that there was no harm done.

God Bless,
Maryanne

No, you are not that crazy lady...she is.  I'm glad you are a smart lady and let her pass you.  You don't need those kind of lessons...the fish are bad enough!  Hugs and blessings...glo
