Missing Children

For whatever reason I decided to go look at the site for missing children. Click here to go there.  I was looking through the children missing from North Carolina because I live in North Carolina.  Some of these children have been missing for years.  Then I saw where a dead child had been found and they still don't know who she is.  That must be horrible.  Surely someone loved her enough to miss her.  Anyways, I decided to every so often put one of the missing pictures here.  Even though you don't live in NC that doesn't mean that you won't recongize some of these kids.  They could be in another state by now. 

And for this poor child who knows what state she is from.  She was found in Granville, NC on March 5, 2003.  Click on this paragraph to go to the poster of her that the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has of her, and to read more about her.

This is her picture, it is a from a computer assisted composite.  She had been dead up to a month before she was found.

I am going to urge everyone to visit the missing children site, look up your state or a near by state and see if you have seen any of the missing kids.  Maybe even add a picture of one that is missing in your journal from time to time.  You never know who may see it.
