I have recently discovered another world of AOL Journals out there. Yep. Some of you may have already known about this but I am always a little slow on such. There are AOL journals in the United Kingdom. Silly me thought AOL = America On Line meant just that America. But there is an AOL UK. Who knew?
They even have a different message board than us! Here is a link for it: Writing A Journal If you are not AOL then the link probably won't work.
By surfing around on that message board you can find links to their journals. Here are a few to get you started:
Be warned that their slang is quite a bit different than ours. In a chat rocketman mentioned that he just "had a fag". You can picture my face at that! But Dave (world of sod) said it was slang for cigerette. Whew! And even though Dave tried to explain what "sod" meant I still don't know that I quite got it.
Anyway, run to the board and find more journals! Make some new friends! If you read something you don't quite understand or you may think is offensive (like the slang for cigerette) don't jump to conclusions. Just ask them what it means to them. You may be surprised!

I ran to the board and put it in my favorites! I also looked in on the journals you posted. The only one that wouldn't open was Introspective. Fag is a generation gap thing. I grew up knowing cigs were fags but hey! I 53 years old. It isn't just a Britian thing hehehehe
This is a nice journal. In the newbie group we both belong to there is Speciman Days (by Stuart) and Temporarily Disabled (which is temporarily disabled) by Wldconnie. Also 2 more mentioned - with links - in my journal My Rosegarden - Wendy. I'll check these out. Love your graphics.
