Ok, I am not entirely sure what "sod" means but I think it may be a good thing. Maybe. This little boy lives in England. And has started his very own journal. That's right folks Oscar may be our youngest AOL journaler yet. This is what he wrote in the about me section:

My Name is Oscar and I was born on 19th December 2003 at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, England...
I just couldn't wait to get into this world and meet everyone, so I only put my Mummy through a 2 hour labour... On arrival I weighed in at a healthy 6lb 8oz...
I will be keeping you up to date with my progress while I am growing up and all the things going on in my life...
With 3 entries under his belt already he is off to a great start. Even talks about trying to raise his parents properly.

Sod - This word has many uses. My father always used to say "Oh Sod!" or "Sod it!" if something went wrong and he didn't want to swear too badly in front of the children. If someone is a sod or an "old sod" then it means they are a bit of a bastard or an old git. "Sod off" is like saying "piss off" or "get lost" & "sod you" means something like "f*** off". It also means a chunk of lawn of course. You can usually tell the difference!
Got this by googling "Sod Slang Definition" (I'm a master googler!) It's from a dictionary of British slang, which may come in handy if you're reading UK journals!
