trying out a background, and giving away a surprise!

Ok ladies and gentlemen lets try another background. I know that I can't use a different background everytime, and heck I may only use them every now and again, but right now since we are all playing with beta I might as well go background crazy!

If you have seen the backgrounds I have used in other journals you will know that picking a background isn't easy. Some are too dark, some are too bright, and some are just too darn busy. Then you need to choose the color and size font that makes it all more readable. So much to think about, gives the old brain a bit of an ache!

I haven't spent alot of time the past few days on journaling and I am sorry. I have just been surfing around the web looking for ideas for the surprise links, and for the "fun" page I am still trying to put together. I just popped over to my "where to find help" page and saw this:
. Whoo Hoo!!!! If anyone reading this is on that page when it hits 1000 take a screen capture send it to me and I will send you a little surprise via e-mail! Just a little surprise mind you! If you want to pass the word on go ahead. The more the merrier right?

Let me hit enter now and see how this background is doing.

Hi {{{{{Kathy}}}}} I think this is a perfect combination of background and font. The green font compliments the background well, the background is understated enough to still be noticed but not overwhelm the text...and the font size is great (especially for people over 50 like me who have a hard time reading some of the fine print). :) It seems your experimenting is going quite well :)

Hey Kathy! Your background is looks great! I have a couple entries using a background in my private beta test journal, but everyone I've seen use them in the beta version of their regular journal have had major problems afterwards so I haven't done it yet. Well, if yours stays the same withiun 24 hours, I'll go ahead and give it a shot. :-) Great work!

Gregg, my backgrounds have stuck around ever since I put them in. You can see the crappy backgrounds at:http://beta.journals.aol.com/onestrangecat/theotherstrangeplace/ and there is one at: http://beta.journals.aol.com/onestrangecat/somethingtosmileabout/
