100 Things about ME

1 Kathy is my real name, it is not short for anything.

2 Don't know what I will do with them all, but I have started collecting my name on tags and siggys (like you see on the bottom of my emails)

3 Love BBQ potato chips.

4 Can't spell. I even took a class in college on spelling. It didn't help.

5 My math is worse than my spelling.

6 Got online for the first time this past August.

7 Used to be a red head.

8 I drive a Mustang. 

9 You won't catch me naming my animals cutesy names, I prefer "human" names for my critters.

10 I love milk. Could drink gallons of it.

11 Don't mind going to the movies by myself. I actually enjoy it.

12 The church I go to has about 250 members. I am the only single in my age range there.

13 I LOVE to read. You can never have too many books in your house.

14 Because of my depression (bipolar) I am not able to work right now.

15 I have had my appendix taken out.

16 Gall Bladder is gone too.

17 Though done in several surgeries I have had a complete hysterectomy.

18 Hated school. Loved college. I could go to college forever if it weren't for the money.

19 I have my red belt in American Freestyle Karate.

20 When I was taking karate I would compete in tournaments. Even won at times.

21 I have just the one brother.

22 I love Mountain Dew.

23 Not supposed to drink anything with caffeine.

24 Would rather be shot than drink coffee. That is just some nasty stuff.

25 Once drove 9 hours by myself to visit a friend in another state.

26 I have been to Disney World once back in the mid 1980s.

27 Campbell's soup is the only brand of soup I will eat.

28 Favorite meal: grilled cheese (2 slices of cheese) and tomato soup.

29 Hand made cards is my thing. Love to do it. I am still learning and experimenting in this area.

30 Had my first kiss under a tree at the end of the street thatI now live on.

31 I still have the dress that I wore to my 1st school dance. Don't ask if I can wear it. That was like 8th or 9th grade.

32 Hate housework.

33 I live in jeans and t-shirts.

34 Have had surgery on both feet (at different times).

35 Accepted Christ into my life when I was a little kid. It didn't really "hit" me until I was a teen ager though.

36 Watch 1 soap opera -- Passions. It is a weird one with witches and evil.

37 Marvin the Martian is my man. In 2nd would be Pinky from Pinky and the Brain.

38 Love graveyards.

39 Started scrapbooking about a year and a half ago.

40 Won't miss an episode of Trading Spaces.

41 Wish I could find some kind of job I could do from home.

42 Can't watch Animal Cops and shows like it. It gets to me too much to see animals abused in such ways.

43 If I could (don't make fun of me) I would pick up every dead animal I see beside the road and bury it somewhere. I don't. But it kills me to see something by the side of the road (or in the road).

44 Sadie is the 3rd cat I have picked up off the side of the road. My parents have the 1st -- Sara. Then 2nd one -- Elmer -- I had to have put to sleep after a couple of weeks, he was just too sick.

45 I have had only 1 wreck since I started driving.

46 Only 1 speeding ticket.

47 I am not as dependable as I used to be (think it has something to do with my illness) so I try not to say that I will do something. I don't want to be the person that no one wants to ask because I say that I will and then never come through. I only say yes when I am really sure that I can/will do it.

48 I love that new candy bar Smores.

49 Cold pizza for breakfast. yumm

50 I would love to have a lizard or two. But I won't. They are too hard to take care of.

51 Until I took Drivers Ed in school I had never driven a car.

52 Moved out from home when I was 24 years old. And have never moved back.

53 Almost got arrested once.

54 When I was a teen ager I was on the church league Bible quiz team. Never made it to nationals though.

55 Love the group 3 Doors Down.

56 Bay City Rollers was "the" band for me when I was a teen.

57 Although I have never been married I think the "idea" marriage would be that we both have our own houses and we take turns being together at each house on weekends. Yea, liveapart during the week. Well....you could sleep over some if you wanted to.

58 Sweettarts.

59 I would love to have a black Great Dane named Daisy.

60 Daisy is my very favorite flower. White daisies, not the colored ones.

61 My mouse pad has a kitten on it.

62 There is a beanie baby reindeer on top of my monitor.

63 I have an apple pie scented candle on my desk.

64 Sort of, kind of, collect those empty nothing book things. I have no idea why. They are just cool. I do write in some of them. Others I hate to mess up.

65 Hated school so bad you had to pick me up and put me on the school bus.

66 Was super skinny until I was about 30.

67 Still wonder if I put Ashley to sleep too soon. Maybe she could/should have lived longer.

68 The last time my grandmother was in the hospital I told my mom that I would go visit her the next day. She died that night. I will never forgive myself for that.

69 Bounced 1 check in my lifetime. I was switching banks and got confused or something and a check bounced.

70 I have visioned 2 places for a dream wedding. The first in a field of daisies. The 2nd is on the beach at sunrise.

71 Fell asleep on the beach once. The sunburn still hurts to think about.

72 For the family reunion one year I made all my aunts/uncles this little box with a picture of them all on the top of it.

73 The church I attend is Southern Baptist.

74 I would rather have chips than candy bars.

75 If I want something sweet to eat I would rather donuts, cake or something like that over candy.

76 My computer is in the same room as the cat litter box.

77 Yeah, I got some strands of gray hair. Not too many though.

78 I would love to have a mural painted on my bedroom wall. It would be of a field of daisies.

79 Didn't decorate for Christmas the past couple of years. Shhhh don't tell anyone.

80 When mom was pregnant the first time my dad said it would be a girl. He picked out a girls name. Would not even discuss a boys name. Oops....a boy popped out.

81 Dad was at home asleep when my brother and I were born.

82 My brother is 3 years older than me.

83 I like grape soda. (just like radar in m*a*s*h)

84 Never have smoked a cigarette. Not even 1 puff.

85 Can't imagine living in a house without a pet of some kind.

86 Never had any alcohol until I was in my mid twenties. Never really cared for it. Haven't had any in forever.

87 I LOVE the old "b" movies. The horror ones with the big bugs, aliens from outer space....Attack of the Killer Tomatoes....

88 I have "fired" several doctors over the years.

89 I was a good kid. I was always where I would say I would be. Come home when I was told to. If I was going to be late or go somewhere else I would call home first.

90 I won't let anyone smoke in my car. You can smoke in my house but not my car.

91 I am trying to recover from being a pack-rat. It is so hard. My parents were (and still are) very good teachers at this skill.

92 I wear the same necklace all the time.

93 I wear my grandmothers wedding band -- on my right hand along with another ring. I don't want to get it resized, I want to keep it just as granny wore it.

94 Loved the old Batman tv show. The one that had words pop up on the screen when they were fighting.

95 I have a thing for ink pens. At home I only use the "wacky" ones. They have faces on the tops, feathers, flowers, etc....

96 Cheeze-its. yumm

97 I have always wanted to visit Scotland.

98 I love to read about serial killers.

99 I like hearing about mysterious (unsolved) things or places, such as Easter Island, haunted houses.

100 I hate my middle name.
