Hello I am still in the land of the living. I have been letting my "real" life interfer with my "computer" life. I am so sorry Gregg that I let that happen. I know that YOU would never do that.
I went Saturday and got paint and primer so I could paint my living room and hallway. Can't wait to get started. And if you believe that! I really hate to pick paint from a little paint chip but I did. I held all these colors up to my curtins to see what might match (as I don't want to have to buy new curtins). I thought I had found just the right color but when I saw it in the can......I am not so sure anymore. We well soon find out. Tomorrow I am going to prime the rooms and paint Friday.
Yeah, I know I could do it all in one day but my dad is helping me and if I did it all in one day he would push to get it done in like a hour or something. When I painted my kitchen he helped and before one coat could really dry he was putting on the next coat. I want to take my time and do it right. Who knows after he leaves tomorrow I may start to put the color on the walls.
Dallas is starting to tolerate Sadie a little better. She (Dallas) actually licked Sadie on the head BEFORE she raised her paw and slapped her! And today Sadie put her butt in Dallas' face and Dallas just sat there. WOO HOO
This graphic has nothing to do with this entry. I have been trying to wait until I had a hair story to use it but I just don't have any stories yet.
I have a question for anyone who thinks they have an answer. Even at my age I refer to other females in my age range as girls, and the older women as well, women. I am confused as to when I should stop using the word "girls". Anyhow in the paper last week there was a story about a "17 year old girl" and a "20 year oldwoman." So my question is when do you stop refering to females as girls and start calling them women? I realise that if we were talking about males you would stop the "boy" at about what 13? Men are so petty about that for some reason.
Once again I will ask how do you like this background? Did I pick the right color for the text? I really like using backgrounds and I know that I still have a long way to get them down just right so hang in there with me until I get it, ok?

OMGosh, make sure all your windows are open when you primer. The fumes are really intense! I primered and painted my hallway this past weekend and I ended up with the worst headache. That was just the hallways! So you have your work cut out for you. Hope it ends up looking beautiful! ~Melissa
I'm still a girl and I'm 39. So you go girl! Funny squirrel! lol I love it!
I would say 20 is when they go from girls to women... boys go from boys to men at about 20 too but lets not hear them say that

I struggled for years trying to find a proper way to refer to myself. I felt too old for girl and too young for woman. I started testing the waters with "woman" when I was 26 or so, and even now at 32, I only feel "woman" about half the time. LOL Boy is harder. When speaking with my girlfriends, we still refer to them as "boys" most of the time. I also tend to use "young man" or "guy" a lot, especially when referring to the kids with whom I work. Now that I think of it, I rarely use "man" at all - except maybe, "You are not the man I married!" Hahaha!
