I picked Sadie up this morning from the vet. Everyone there kept telling me how sweet she is! She has won all their hearts!
One of the guys that works there asked me if she always meows like that. Meows? Sadie has meowed maybe 2 or 3 times since I found her. Then she started making this noise she makes when she breathes. The tech said that when Sadie was waking up after the surgery they all heard what they thought was a duck quacking in the room. No duck just Sadie. I had never thought of the noise she makes as sounding like a duck, but now that it has been mentioned I can hear it.
Dr B thinks the noise Sadie makes may have came from the infection she had. He did check her out and found nothing. But I think just him checking everything out must of done something because she doesn't sound as bad as she used to.
I know the background on this entry will be a little dark and maybe distracting but I wanted to give it a shot.

I'm so happy Sadie is doing good! I remember the pics you posted when you first found her. She is one gorgeous kitty. I would've been sad to leave one of mine overnight, but at least she's back home now and soon will be all healed up. ~Melissa

awww you must feel better now that she's home again !! her unique meow sounds absolutely adorable !! i've got a cat that squeeks instead of meows but i have never heard one that sounds like a duck lol
hopefully time will improve the problem she's having .. i'm keeping my fingers crossed for you both
