My cousin that burnt down her house, well another cousin gave her 2 smoke alarms as a house warming present! LOL Good think S has a great scence of humor. S went back to the other side of the state to get her mom and bring her to the new diggs. Aunt M is almost 80 and can't live alone anymore. In fact Aunt M says she doesn't want to live past her 80th birthday. I know she has a lot of problems and recently had a stroke......actually she hasn't been the same since her son G killed himself.
My cats haven't caught anymore mice so maybe I don't have anymore! Lets hope! Sophie has started sleeping with me lately. I love having one of my kitties to hug at night. One cat I had for about 19 years would sleep with me every night, she would curl up beside my pillow..... Hey when you sleep alone it's nice to have something warm and breathing to cuddle up to! :)
It's been about a year and a half and my Aunt E's house is still on the market. We have kept the electricity on, mow the yard, insurance, and pay the taxes so it isn't cheap to have a house just sitting there! I know there is a housing slump but this is getting crazy. Sure the house needs a little work but the price is pretty low. Oh well I am sure it will sell sometime.

Oh my I do hope the housing market turns around for you. It's bad here but some places, like California, it's terrible.
Have you thought about posting pics and info about the house? You never know, someone might find it and check it out.
