It's just me

John's Monday photo shoot is about yawns.  The only yawn I have a picture of is this old one of Dallas.  Or maybe she is laughing?  She was a great kitty.  Cats always look wicked when yawning.  I always think of Stephen King when I see yawns like this!

I have started getting lots of mail at my parents house.  I've told mom just to trash whatever comes because it has to be junk mail.  I mean I haven't lived at that address since 1984 (?).  Mom saves the stuff for me to look at anyway.  Today there was an envelope that on the outside said something like important news about my mortage insurance.  I knew it was junk, mom said you haven't even opened it how do you know?  Easy mom, the people that have my mortage and my insurance KNOW where I live!  Sure enough it was some ad from that little reptile guy (Geico if you can't guess).

Yeah, I think we all have days when we feel like this.  Or am I wrong?
I haven't been doing the greatest.  I know I'll be ok and everything.  But I'm not ok right now.  I go back to the doctor on Monday so we'll just see what he has to say.

The newest edition of CarnivAOL is up if you didn't know.  You can go here --->>> CarnivAOL to see who is sharing this month.

Watching the SciFi channel this morning, there was the old show "In Search Of" and they were talking about the church of Satan.  Some of it just made chills run up and down my spine.  There was the blues guitar player way back when that wasn't really all that great.  He disappered for a while and when he came back he played better than ever.  Almost like magic.  Rumor had it that he made a deal with the devil for his talent/fame.  Just did a little searching on the web.  His name was Robert Johnson, and the last song he wrote/recorded before he died had the line ""Hello, Satan," I believe it's time to go."  Ok, so the "myth" may or may not be true, but it gets you to thinking.  People play around with "satanism" and the "dark arts" and have no real clue as to what they may be walking into.

Guess that's it for now.  This sig tag is larger than I thought it was.  Sorry if it takes a while to load:

Sorry you're still not doing so great, hon. I keep you in my prayers all the time and have others praying for you too. That yawn photo made me yawn (again). I have been awake since 3:30, I think and am barely making it. Wish I were like my Johnny. He can fall asleep quicker than a wink - any time he wants too.
Hugs and love too,

The kitty is adorable. LOL!

So cute how your mom saves your mail. Moms are great. : )

That graphic describes my emotions yesterday and a little bit today......I'm working on calming down.

I hope the doctor can make you feel better. I think I just need the grandkids to go back to school.....They don't go back until after labor day here. I'm exhausted and frazzled at the same time.

Love,
Angela

That's an urban legend, Kath.  I don't believe in a "Satan", but I do believe that people can get lost and angry about their lives --  and they then seek cults, music, rituals associated with "Satan".  It's a cry for help.  These people will do very bad things not because of demons on the outside.  they are messed up by demons on the inside.  Just my theory.

My mother has me read all of her mail to her.  She doesn't understand about junk mail.  I know what you are going through.

The picture of the cat is adorable.

Up until Pop died and Mom moved out to Las Vegas near us I was still getting mail at their house. I guess some of those old address lists are still being used by sales people. My Regards, Bill.

Oh man, Kath, if you're talking about the great southern guitar legend, best blues man of the late 50's, inspiration for many young axe players, the one and only Robert Johnson, then absolutely this is the silliest thing I ever heard, and I believe in spirits leaving imprints where they lived and died.  But not this guy, can't be.  When RJ "disappeared" it was usually on a bender, he enjoyed his pleasures - but one was definitely not dealing with the devil.  Cathy

~ oh yeah...now i remember why i came to comment here...
~ i can empathize with the "this is how i feel" atomic thing there...reminds me of doonsbury's "bill the cat"  i don't know if you know that one...but either way...i can relate to that "frazzled" feeling....especially when i'm having a bad hair day...
*but quite sincerely...i hope you are feeling "better" soon....in Jesus' Name, i pray/hope/haveFaith - Amen!!! in Jesus' Name~AMEN!
