Friday before Father's Day 2006

Howdy-do!  How are ya'll doing?  Can you hear my southern accent?  LOL

Any of you remember (before people left J-land) Shelli P?  She was dazeychic?  She is blogging somewhere else now, anyways.......She is pregnant with her first baby.  Yeah!  But in her last entry she was on a week of bed rest because of bleeding.  So go and let her know you are thinking about her:  Belli Boo

We all hate telemarketers right?  I remember when I still lived in an apartment I got a call from someone that wanted to sell me siding for my house.  As soon as I said I live in an apt he hung up!  So I have used that line once or twice after buying my house!

(this is so my mom's cat at the vet!!!!!!!!!)

Another thing I do.  LOL  If someone calls and asks for Mrs (my last name her) I say that she isn't her.  LOL  Well she ain't!  I'm not a Mrs!!!  Or if they call and ask for me by name and can't pronounce my last name (and most can't) I know it isn't someone I know so I say that "she" isn't home and can I take a message!!!!!  LOL  If they want the "lady of the house" sometimes I am here and sometimes I'm not.  They don't know who they are talking to!!!!!!  Aren't I nice?

I try not to just hang up on people.  But if I say I thanks for calling but I am just not interested if they keep talking I just hang up.  Sorry.  But I said thanks for calling.

So if you call and you can't pronounce my name or know if I am married or not this is for you:  (LOL)

I hate telemarketers too. I could never do that kind of work. I try, like you, to be polite, but they just keep on talking. I finally got signed up on something through the telephone co.  to keep them from calling. So far- so good.
Hugs, and love too.

I always say, she isn't here right now.
Tell them to call back at a really crazy time too. LOL!

lol at the picture of the cat at the vet. Now, I hate when people call me. I'm not that nice about it. But, I do have caller ID and thank heaven I just don't answer the phone. Sometimes my kids will and listen then say no. LOL.

I've got a pretty hard to pronounce last name -- and even people I know get it wrong at times.  My trick with telemarketers is to say "hold on..." and then I wait three seconds before hanging up.

hope ya'll have a good weekend!!

We kind'a do the same things here but, have taken it one step further. There is a local telemarketer who is constantly calling and a couple of others who call at least twice a month. I tell them that the person they are looking for just moved and give them the phone number of one of the other telemarketers. I now have Sprint Privacy Plus. It doesn't let any call through if there is no call back number and name on the Caller ID. That has cut out a lot of crank calls. Have a great week. My Regards, Bill.

Thanx for the advice hun,did you read my experience?lol,my cat used to be like that at the vets lol,it was a nightmare taking her,but my male cat was worse, hed spit and swear going into the box, then cry all the way but once we got there hed curl up into a little ball and act like a tiny kitten with the vet,the vet couldnt understand why i used to hate taking my cat there,he should have seen my scratch marks lol.xxzoexx.
