First Friday in June 2006!!!!!!!!

With all the thunder we had yesterday evening I thought we would have a really bad storm.  Didn't happen.  We got a little rain and it all just fizzled out.  But everytime I thought about getting back online I would hear thunder and just decided not to chance it.

Now onto something I found this morning online.  I think just about everyone one of us could use this at some time or another:

What is it?  It's a "pity pot".  Click on the graphic and it will take you to the site where you can buy it.  It also comes with this poem:

No smiles today, just frowns I've got.
It's time for a rest on the pity pot.

I'm sad, I'm cranky. It'll be a day or two.
Of feeling down, of feeling blue.

This isn't just a simple mood swing,
It's an honest to goodness pity pot thing.

You must admit that I've earned this spot.
Right up front on the pity pot.

It's just so hard to keep this smile.
I need a pity pot break for just a while.

So give me time to wallow a bit.
I know real soon that I'll get over it.

The clouds will part and the sun will grow hot,
And I'll jump right off this pity pot.

Kinda cool huh?  And for $12 (and a worthy cause) it is pretty reasonably priced.

Now that I have copied/pasted that poem it is messing up my text.  Everything wants to be centered.  I hate that.  I don't know how to make it stop doing it either.

Excuse me for a moment...........

Maggie just came up on my desk purring and meowing.  I think she just wanted me to tell her how pretty she is, as that is what I told her and she went back to laying in a sunbeam.  LOL

Workers are still working on the foundation to my parents house.  Hopefully they will finish up late today or tomorrow (if they work on Saturdays)a

On the last of May North Carolina got the last step in our state lottery -- power ball.  Woo Hoo  I don't know that I will ever play it though.  I have bought some scratch off tickets but my heart really isn't into it.  I guess that is good.  I don't need to pour money into a lost cause.  LOL

Maggie is back over here.  She is trying to grab my fingers as I type.  LOL  I have got to get her nails trimmed!  They hurt!  So does her teeth but can't do anything about that!  She is such a sweety though.

Guess I'll go and play a little of the Parking Game.  I am WAY too addicted to that game.

Ok, what happened to the poem?  I hit save only to see it all over the place.  I so hate it when it does that.
