What to do, what to do?

Ok, everyone I have an assignment for you.
Christmas is about 2 weeks away, and there
are people that dread it for one reason or another.
I am thinking of people that will -- for whatever --
the reason will be spending the holidays alone.
So instead of just sitting in front of the tv I
want to "give" them something to do to help pass
     the time.

My idea:  everyone give me links to your favorite
places on the web.  You favorite games, groups,
whatever (no porn please).  I will get you started
with a few links here.  Please leave your links in
the comment section or email them to me.  Then
I will make a post closer to Christmas (proabably
the Friday before) will all the links of things to
do.  Then if anyone is alone or need to kill some
time they won't have to search for something to
do, all they have to do is stop here.  Sorta like
      one stop shopping.

     Pass the word, Ok?

     Here is a "starter" list:

AOL Pictures and Gifts  (I just discovered this)
MSN Groups   all kinds of groups for all kinds of
                             people
Linkoholics Heaven Link Menu  links to everywhere
Make your own Online Movie  just what it says
Downloadable Short Films  just what it says
Neopets  -- adopt an "online" pet
Mr Picassohead  -- make online art
The Interview with God   a short "movie"

Get the idea?  Great.  Look forward to hearing
     from everyone.

Here is one of my favorite sites.  I make these cybersnowflakes for hours, lol.  You can put messages on them, dedicate them to people, or ask for prayers, also:

Here is another one:

http://siggiez.com/countdownz/ch/index2.cgi

With it you make signature banners for the bottom of your emails.  They are countdown Christmas signatures and they change automatically everyday, telling you how many days it is till Christmas!  You have many to choose from, serious to silly, all Christmasy!

What a beautiful idea! Even if you aren't alone sometimes the holidays can be too much. Here is a link that shows us what it is all about. Love. No matter how alone or stressed we are, this love letter brings comfort and we know we are not alone. Suzy Colorado

Those who like to read about movie or TV stars in short biographies or wish to find out if one actor appeared in a program or movie can use  imbd.com.
I use it and it's very nice. It gives you the actors entire career and all of the places they appeared. Even deceased people are listed.
imbd stands for International Movie Data Base. However, it's not limited to movies or even TV stars. You can even find singers, politicians.....all kinds of folks you'd like to know about and it's simply factual. No Enquirer stuff.

Hope that helps a bit.

Go here... it's a site where a Yeti hits a falling penguin for distance with a huge ice shard. It can easily kill an hour.

This is pretty fun to do..www.hsx.com, It's Hollywood Stock Exchange, you play with hollywood dollars, they give you when you register. You buy stock in movie stars, movies and singing artists etc. I stink at it, TG it's only make believe!
