Sometimes I wonder

I wonder sometimes........

With Christmas coming up I have started to wonder about that very first Christmas day.  These are some of my questions I ask myself:

How warm or cold was it?

How did Mary feel when she looked down at her baby.  Did she see her little boy or did she see the Son of God?

What about those shepards?  They were scared when the angels appeared to them, but what must it have been like?

How was Joseph feeling when Jesus was born?

Did the sky look like it does now -- 'cept for that one star?

Did the people around Mary realize that her baby was the Son of God? or was He just another baby being born?

Wonder about Mary's and Joseph's families if they knew or understood what was happening?

The Wise Men weren't there that night but how did they know and how did they feel when they were traveling to find Jesus?

Why do we always picture angels with wings?  Does the Bible say they have them?  When they appeared to the shepherds were they on the ground like regular people? In the sky?

Do we really know when (date, month) of when Jesus was born?

What do you wonder?

IF YOU READ THE FIRST PART OF THE BOOK OF LUKE AND DO THE MATH, JESUS WAS BORN ARROUND THE END OF MARCH TO THE FIRST OF APRIL, I LEAN MORE TOWARDS APRIL.  ALSO IF YOU READ ABOUT MARY AND JOSEPH AT THE TIME PEOPLE CONSIDER THE BIRTH, JESUS IS MENTIONED AS "THE YOUNG CHILD", NOT AN INFANT.  JUST REMEMBER THE LORD DOES THINGS IN FULL CIRCLE, THE DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION WERE IN APRIL, WHY NOT THE BIRTH.  I HOPE THIS HELPS SOME.....................STORMIE
P.S.  WE HAVE STUDIED THIS OUT IN CHURCH.................

ya know, now that you mention it, ever since i was a little kid (and i'm being very serious, now ... i'm just clarifying that because i'm known for making wise cracks, but for sure, this is NOT a wise crack) ...

i'd always wondered if Jesus' parents ever spanked Him when He was little ... i STILL wonder that ...

i guess we'll find out when we get to Heaven ...

also, don't quote me on this (i'd better go do some research), but, i do believe that the Bible DOES say that angels have wings ... there are some good descriptions of different angels in there ... hmmm, i'd better freshen up on that and then i'll return as soon as i get the chance ...
