Another Christmas come and gone

Can you believe that Christmas is over and that
a new year is almost here?  Remember when
the year 2000 rolled in and everyone just
knew the computers would all stop working
or worse that it would be the end of time?
Wonder if people still have stock piles of food
and water from that?  Did you have any
                                  computer problems?  I didn't have a computer
                                  at the time.

I thought my little Sadie was going to be all
well when I got that last pill into her on Sat.
Wrong.  She is still sneezing up stuff.  I called
the vet and to save a trip (for Sadie not me)
he said come on and he would give (sell me)
some more meds.  He has had other patients
that didn't respond to the other stuff.  Here's
hoping this new stuff does the trick.

For Christmas I got one of the best gifts you
can get.  Cash!  Oh, I got some CD's and a
few other things, but I can really get excited
                                    over cash!  LOL

New Years Resolutions anyone?  Not me.  You
know chances are good that you are not going
to keep them.  The past few years I have
gone with "try to be a nicer person and a
better Christian".  Hopefully I do ok with
something that broad and general!  LOL

Not much to say.  Hope everyone is healthy
and looking forward to a new year.

Cash is always good, lol. Every time somebody sends me a gift of cash I run right to a book store, or a music store. No resolutions for me, except I have made a committment to keep the spirit of Christmas within my heart all year.
Love you,
Hope the new meds work for your cat.

Never believed in New Year's resolutions. Too much pressure. LOL!

Yes, I had a computer. I've had computers since 1986 but I've been online since either December of 96 or 97.....Can't remember. Anyway, I didn't have any problems and yes, I stockpiled and ate a can of Tuna not realizing Tuna has a five year experation date. I ate it last year and then found out .....and was sure I was going to get botulism for a few days. LOL!

AH cash works alway does. FATHER I pray our bless our fur babies and heal hem al nad protect them. Yes we still keep food and water and stuff just in case of any emergency or sometimes to giveto those in need at tiems. Its Gods plan to have be prepared.  that has been our theory. maybe 911 or Y 2 k was suppose ot teach us that. The proverbs says  prudent man is prepared.

Hmmm... that seems so long ago.

I didn't have any computer problems in 2000 but I remember there were tons of downloads to prevent such snafus.

And as far as the canned food and stuff for "just in case", I just finished throwing the remainder of that junk O U T!
Like I would eat it under normal circumstances. Um... NO.

I'm still trying to have a Christmas afterglow. At least until New Years.

Happy New Year's to you!

Nope, no resolutions here.  I don't call them resolutions I just know there are things I want to change and must go about changing.  Let's say they are life changes.  :-)

I'm lurking...  looking for friends - your journal is one of the most interesting so far!  Helpful with links and lots of friends commenting that I've now visited and am adding to my alerts.  Thanks!  Hope the latest meds for Sadie work.  I'll leave a link to my journal but something is up...  whenever I leave it, I then check it once its posted, but it always reads error.  Ain't giving up, tho.  I'll keep trying until I figure it out but for now I'm just typing away any silly old thoughts off the top of my head.  Enjoyed visiting with you and your friends.  Hope you'll be seeing me around some more - if I don't get too frustrated and throw the computer out the window.

I love cash gifts or gift cards.  Then you can go hunting for something that you really want and you know that you CAN afford it because you aren't using your money!  Convoluted, but fun! Pennie
