I'm still alive!

It has been awhile since my last post.  Can't believe it has been so long.  Thanks to those that emailed me to see how I was doing.

I have had a problem with depression and anxiety for years and every so often my meds quit working and we have to find something new to try.  That is what is going on basically.  Doc has tried some things but nothing is doing much yet.

My anxiety is the worst it has ever been.  I haven't been able to go places and do things I was doing.  I know it will pass or we will hit on some meds that will help.  It is just taking time.

Also, because I have been on disabilty for awhile Social Security is re-evaluating my "status" and it isn't helping my depression or anxiety one bit.  I have to go to one of their doctor's on Wednesday.

My aunt is doing a lot of sleeping.  I am not sure but I think it has to do with some of her medical problems.  She really doesn't reconize anyone and is still not really eating anything.

I will try to update more often and add to my other journals soon.  I just haven't felt up to it lately.

As as a long term anxiety sufferer, I feel for you.  I hope they find a new medication that helps. Glad to see you back posting.  It will problem help to do your journal again.  Wishing you better and sending BIG hugs xxxxx

I thought I saw you commenting here and there, but maybe I was wrong. I understand what you are going through, and don't worry about the reevaluation thingy.  They do it more often in the beginning, then it falls off to just a form in the mail. DO you need someone to go with you? I had a hard time talking, so I always tried to have someone with me.

*My thoughts are with you.

Nice to see this post, Kathy. Hope the doctor finds something that will work for you. I've struggled with depression for most of my life. There was a point of several years, off and on, when I had to take meds for it, so know how important having the right one can be. Will keep you in prayer, and hope all goes well at the doctor's on Wednesday. Praying for your aunt too. Don't worry about posting. We will all be here whenever you feel up to writing something. I have you on alerts. Big hugs, hon. Barb- http://journals.aol.com/barbpinion/HEYLETSTALK

Hi Kathy.  It's good to hear from you again.  I understand anxiety and depression, but I know there is something that will help you.  I also wish you the very, very best of luck with the Social Security evaluation. I know that can be stressful. Pam had to go through that a few years ago.
