Last day of January 2005

Not much going on around here.  When had a bit of an ice storm Saturday.  But my Sunday afternoon it was mostly gone.  Thank goodness.  I really want some snow but the ice is just too much.

Oh, Sunday morning while it was still real icy I looked out and saw my newspaper but decided to get it later in the day when the porch and walkway wouldn't be so slick.  Well before I got to it someone stole my newspaper!  I kid you not.  That just took nerve.  Oh, I guess a dog could have taken off with it but I don't think so.  Sunday's papers are usually pretty big and heavy.

Tomorrow I plan on taking up the carpet in my spare room.  It's going be work with all the furniture -- and my computer -- in the room.  But the floor beneath it looks to be in pretty good shape.  This will also be a good time to move things around.  I want to move my computer to another corner in the room.  I haven't yet because there is no phone plug there.  Dad knows someone that can put me an extra plug in for free (the telephone people want $75) so maybe we can get that worked out at the same time.

Dallas is doing pretty good.  She is roaming around the house a little more than she was doing.  I still have to bring her food to her but she is eatting good.

Sadie, Sadie is just Sadie.  What can I say about her?  She is doing ok.  The vet gave me another med to give her every 3 days and that seems to help.  She is eatting really good now also.
