Dallas Update / another graphic group?

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayer for my sweet Dallas.  Dallas is quite a bit better than she was in my last entry.  After I got some meds in her she started perking up.  While I have no doubt she has lost most of her eyesite I do believe she still has some.  Why?  She continues to jump up on the couch.  Oh she stares and thinks about it before jumping, but she wouldn't do it at all if she were totally blind right?  I have watched her almost bump into a wall and put a paw in her water dish so I know she is almost blind.

I feel so much better about Dallas and the way she is acting.  She walks through the house, she will eat when I put food in front of her.  She wants up on the couch.  She has even groomed Sadie a little.

Next topic:

First let me say that I am NOT running down any AOL groups.  I love them all.  But I do know that with the graphic one everyone gets a ton of mail and some of it is AC.  I would like to know if I were to start a graphic sharing group -- no tubes, templates, nothing psp -- just sharing G or PG13 graphics -- would anyone be interested in joining? Is there anyone who can put names on tags that would be interested in joining?  Would you want it to be an email group?  I think restricting how much mail per person per day would have to be a rule also. Or would you rather have a MSN group that you can go visit and not get any mail?  Or is there even a need for another group?

What's AC?
G or PG13 graphics?
I would certainly be keen to learn something about this and I  know Sara is keen as well.

So glad to hear that Dallas is doing better.  I was going to join a graphics group until I heard you get over 100 emails per day!! As to putting names on tags, have you visited Angel.  You will find her on my journal under "favourite sites".  She has just started this, she posts graphics that she makes and you can request what you want on them, either a little saying or your name. I would be certainly be interest in a group that had no email although whether I would be able to grasp it all, I have no idea. Keep us posted. xxx

So glad for Dallas. She told you not yet. I can not make graphics yet. Mainly because I do not have a program too yet. And if I were to join a group I would rather go to site.

I would be interested in pg graphics. That would be nice. So glad your kitty is better. I had a dog once he was blind I Had a hard time believing it. Becuase he could manuver some. BUT dogs and cats have a keen sense of smell and can even tell distance with that and heat volume.  I moved the furniture and he still navigated it most times. BUT One time he got a sinus in fection and guess waht he bounced off everything. So yeah she could still be blind. Animals have such better sense than ours. Lori

Glad to hear good news about Dallas.   Dallas needs some extra kisses so I am sending a few for you to deliver.  :-)

Yes, I would be interested in PG graphics.  I dropped out of the other groups because of the graphics and amount of mail. I don't know how to make tags, yet, but it's coming.

I think the mail should be limited and the content monitored.  I don't know much about MSN groups so I can't really say which one I would prefer.

I would love to have a group where there was less email, no AC, and just graphics!  I would be willing to do some tagging as well!!!!

Hello Kathy-
Yes, I would be so interested in a group! I have tried to join several graphic or tag groups here on AOL and it was a complete nightmare about the daily emails. When i politely requested from the owner to please stop sending so many (the controls for email didn't work) emails, they were so mean about it. I would sometimes have 30 to 40 emails a day, which was nuts.
I would love to help out in anyway I could. I do feel there is a need for a group and to somehow control how much email you get, making it your choice. It would be so much funner that way.

Just let me know,
