I haven't forgotten that I promised to help you find inexpensive (cheap) Christmas presents.  I have been busy working on a few things for you and just haven't had the time to do the entry I want to do.  Also I haven't heard from anyone sharing ideas on inexpensive presents or ways to get a little extra cash for Christmas.  Shame on you.  Do I have to hit you with something other than that cream pie?  LOL

I do need one thing from everyone.  What advice, wisdom, or technical help would you give to someone that is just starting to journal here in J-land?  Just one thing (ok, more if you want).  Think about it and get back to me.

Love that graphic of the black cat. The cream pie was wonderful.LOL. Oh, I have an idea you can go to Cost Plus Imports and get some inexpensive gifts there. They have all kinds of stuff there. Food, Wine, or Christmas items are not expensive there.
Love,
Kat

Advice for newcomers to J-land: Don't get discouraged when you publish your journal and no comments are left. It takes awhile for people to learn about you. It helps to list your journal at http://hometown.aol.com/his1desire/AOLJournalDirectory

I know, I know I should be thinking about Christmas presents but I haven't done too much.  I guess you'll have to get out something more than the cream pie.  LOL  BTW, I love the graphic.

Okay, here is an idea, although it's kind of lame.  At the end of every Christmas season, when everything is really, really cheap...I go buy a few boxes of plain glass christmas ball ornaments.  Then the next year, with a gold or silver paint pen, I write a little something on it (the same thing for everyone) like JOY or PEACE ON EARTH,  whatever on one side, then Love, (our names) and the year.  I usually give these with some of my homemade jam and candies.
We live on an extremely tight budget and I don't know if this comes off as cheap to our family and friends or not.  However, I like the idea of giving something I made for them.
