Vivian needs our thoughts and prayers

Most of you know Vivian or have read her journal from time to time. (Click here to go read (listen) to today's entry) I just got a voice email from her which tells me a little more about her house being broken into.

PreviewYeah, you heard me right.  Someone broke into Vivian's house -- thankfully she and her son were not at home when it happened -- and stole quite a few things. Preview They took her jewerly, computer, her son's play station and the keyboard he got for Christmas.

I can tell by the comments left at her journal that many of you are thinking and praying for her.  I ask that you do one more thing.  Seeing as she doesn't have her computer she can't read all the love that is pouring out to her.  But she does have the phone AOL thingy and can call in an entry, and can listen to her email.  Would you please drop her an email to let her know you are thinking and praying for her and for her son?

I feel so sad for her son.  What is most important to him has been stolen.Preview Yes it can be replaced and I know Vivian is trying to figure that out now but you know how upset he must be.  My heart just goes out to him.

PreviewAnd one of the worst things for Vivian -- the one that was voted best use of graphics journal -- has lost all her graphics.  She kept them on a CD.  The CD she kept in the computer.  The computer that is now gone.

I have never been robbed so I don't know exactly how she feels but I would think other than losing your stuff you must feel strange knowing someone was in you home.  So please remember her and her son in your prayers.

Hopefully she will find a way to get back on line sooner rather than later.  But I know emails will help her feel the love coming from all of you.

Kathy

OMG!!!  I will most definitely email her.  We'll just have to band together and help get her graphics replaced.  It isn't the same, but it's a start.  I feel so sorry for her and her son.  I'm just glad they weren't home when this happened.  They are in my prayers!

Be blessed......Trina

OMG!!!!  I didn't know this had happened.  I feel like a horrible friend!!!  Poor Vivian.  Ugh.  And to have your computer stolen, that's really rough, especially with all the personal information most of us keep on our computers.  I'm going right now to offer her my support. Thank you so much for mentioning this!

OMG how awful.  I have never had this happen to me but I would guess the feeling of being so violated is horrible.  Thanks for letting us know.
