Today was a pretty good day. Went out with
my dad for breakfast. Spent some time with
mom. The weather was just perfect. It is
starting to cool down and I love this time of
year so it was great.
I took Sadie for a ride. She loves (or at
least I think 
she does) riding in the car.
She is on me looking out the window. Any
way, most of the time a car ride means
going to the vet and I don't want her to
always think car and vet go together,
so I am trying to make an effort to
take her for a ride more often.
Not too many places you can take a cat
so after driving around for a little bit
we went thru the McDonalds drive thru
for some ice tea. Ok, so the tea was for
me, but Sadie loved the attention she got
from the people in the drive thru.
The fair is in town. I love to go and just walk
around. I haven't riden the rides in forever but
I still enjoy going. Hopefully I will go tomorrow.
They have a new show this year with dogs and
cats. Yep, cats. I have to see what kind of
tricks the cats can do.

I love fairs too, even if I don't go on the rides any more. I love smelling the cotton candy and corn dogs, watching the kids have fun, just love being outside. It's nice that you took your cat for a ride. Our little poodle, who is gone now, loved riding in the car. Hope you're having a wonderful Monday. *barb*
I can just see you drivin' that cat around. It sounds like a good day.
The fair is in my hometown this week, which has always corresponded with my birthday (8th) so I've alway sort of put the two together...the smell of sawdist and my birthday...love that smell.

Sounds like a nice Monday. Mine was horrible, but tomorrow is another day. The fair will arrive in our town in two weeks. I can't wait to bite into a saugage dog. They always taste better at the fair. I hope the weather is cool, but fall arrives late here in north Florida.

I am glad that Sadie loved the attention she got from the people in the drive thru. That is so cute. I love going to the fair. I especially love looking at the animals and the food there. Ours here was in August.
