This one is for Vivian

I am not quite sure when and how Vivian came into my life.  I do know that she has been a termendous help to me in several areas of journaling, and as a person I can vent to.

When I was nomiated against her recently in the AOL People Awards I thought "well, no way I can win now."  I knew she would win because she deserved to win.

Vivian and I have become closer friends thanks to the AOL J-land One Year Annivesary.  I have tried to help he with all things anniversary, don't know that I did such a great job but it brought us closer together as friends.

Even though someone else may would have taken up the "torch" to lead J-land to our One Year Celebration, I don't think any one else could have pulled it together and pulled it off in such a gread way.

So Vivian here is the AOL Journal Torch Bearer Award.  Thanks for being that true beam of light that I -- and others -- have needed in J-land.  Thanks for leading us to and through this milestone celebration.

Everyone click on Vivian's name here and go visit her place.  If you have never been there you have missed a real treat.

Great entry Kathy. It's hard to imagine what the celebrations would be like without the guidance of Viv.

Well-said Kathy! Thanks so much for joining us in celebrating the Vivster! For all she does in J-Land, AOL should have a national holiday in her honor! Oooo! I've just had another great idea! LOL! :-)

Seriously, it makes ME happy to see so many people who love this woman like I do! Thanks again Kat! :-)

It's not always easy to remember the first time you meet someone but there can often be something about a particular time that sticks out. I can remember when we were learning how to do background images in our entries. I believe that's the first time we exchanged a volley of email. When I know that someone is as excited about something as I am, I get even more excited.   I enjoyed sharing what I had learned from Dean with you  and watching you become a fast expert at it!

You have been a tremendous help to me during the anniversary. I would not have known where to put my hands on many things without your help. At the same time you were helping Pam and Ayn. I was feeling guilty that you weren't going to be able to enjoy the anniversary because you were working too hard. I only wish I could let you know how much your help and your friendship have meant to me. I proudly accept this award from you! I am honored, I am humbled and I am excited!

Love,
Vivian
