I really haven't been "visiting" much or keeping up my journals lately. Sorry. Just haven't felt good. Oh, I am healthy - physically - nothing to worry about there. Just fighting off depression. Last month the doctor upped one of my meds. Didn't do a thing. So when I saw him this past Monday he decided to add a new med to what I was taking. So far nothing. But what can you expect in just a few days?
The mood disorder support group I go to is a small group. We talk about all the things we would like to do but no one has any money. I have been working on a list of things to do -- here in town -- that costs $10 or less -- and free is really good. I am amazed at all the things that go on here in town. Sure most are more than the $10 limit I set but I am still amazed. There is quite a few things under $10 also. You just have to hunt for them. Too bad no one just takes a full page ad out in the paper and tell you all the things in one place.
Got pictures for you. Just had them developed today.
This is Dallas. Not a great one but she is still my baby. I read once that if you don't want to have a depressing pet around all the time you need to look at their mouths before you adopt them. Some seem to have a permanet smile or frown. Dallas has that frown thing going for her. Even when she is really happy she has the front.
This is Sadie. Cats look so evil when they are in the middle of a yawn or a meow. I think this was a yawn. Look how long her tail is.
And last but certainly not least. This is a picture I managed to get of the two of them together. Turned out pretty good. Thanks to Gregg's encouragement I have been playing around with the MircorSoft Picture It! that came with my computer. That is how I did the border and their names.
and this is me "warming up" for the ball this weekend. who is that cool cat I am with?

ohhhh {{{Kathy}}} boy do I hear you on the depression!!! I had been on a med for two months and it made me feel wayyy worse with side effects like uncontrollable crying, more sever depression, and laziness. I am on a new med. been taking it three days. I wish it would hurry up and help!!!! Seems like when your depressed every thing takes long enough let alone waiting for your meds to work. Hope you feel better soon and I will be thinking of you =) Hang in there Kathy. ~Wendy~
Depression is the pits, I know! Struggled with it my entire life. Hope your meds kick in soon. And by the way, you're looking pretty good at the bottom of your entry. Hugs, my friend. *Barb*
Beautiful Kittys!
I like your idea of a list. It is positive! That sounds a whole lot more uplifting and constructive than sitting around talking about what you want to do but cannot afford it. That in itself is depressing. I love your kitties. {{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}
I love your dancin' graphic and your pics of the cats. You are doing real good with the Microsoft photo software. My camera is outdated for my computer and the company didn't upgrade that model so I have to buy a new one. Dallas and Sadie are really good at posing for you, LOL!
Kathy, I forgot to sign my name to that last entry! Stop by tomorrow to see one of the Kewl Kats who will be playing at the CyberBall! Suzy Colorado
Yeah, so who is that cool cat? I am afraid I will be going stag! LOL But, that is just fine with me!
Tracy
how wonderful.
hey Kathy, sorry that the depression has been worse these days... it's something I don't hear you talking about too much. I certainly have been there. (& will be again, just a matter of time) Nice to see all the pleasure you get out of your kitties... they are so pretty, great pics. Hang In! --Albert
I also suffer from depression. I know that sometimes it can take weeks for the meds to work. So hang in there. Help will be here before you know it! And I love the idea of making a list of things you can do in town for an inexpensive price. What a fantastic idea. I think I will steal it! -Krissy
