First I am not really complaining. I am just sort of thinking out loud. Or on paper. Well this ain't paper is it? You know what I mean.
I love getting journal alerts. However.......When you get a alert you can pretty much read the journal entry right there, no need to hop over to the journal. But by not going to the journal you miss out on any pictures or graphics that might be there. And unless you feel strongly enough about what the entry is about will you hop over to leave a comment?
Also if you create an entry and hit save THEN decide to rewrite, delete or reword, well the entry is out there for the world in its "raw" form. I never really thought about this until I got a alert and the subject line for the journal had a 4 letter word in it. I was a shocked. But I hopped over to the journal and that person had alread deleted that word and reworked the subject line. Now I know he/she was just having a bad day but it is so much easier now to put something out there then want to change it but at least in the alert or email there it is. Rats.

I WRITE ENTRIES ALL THE TIME THEM DELETE THEM. I WOULD HATE FOR EVERYTHING I WRITE TO BE OUT THERE. SOME LUCKY FEW CATCH MY RANTS AND RAVES THEN WHEN I CALM DOWN I DELETE IT.
That is it exactly. You are upset and you put something out there and whoa you calm down and want to take it back. I have learned that lesson the hard way with e-mails. Always be calm or wait before you hit that send button on those.
I know what you mean about alerts. I often have to post my pics and it says in the middle of thepics that thing about cookies. THen I have to save or loose it all and finish my work. Well i have had several get alerts before I finished my entry. Then I have to eamil them and say Cna you go back now becuase I had not finished my entry. That is kind of a pain. Lori
