Just got back from taking Sadie to see Dr B. My poor little kitty doesn't feel good. But I think it may be worse that I thought. Even Dr B said he was worried about her and wants me to bring her back in in a couple of days.
What's wrong? Don't know. She isn't gaining weight. Her tempature was low. Should be around 100 but it was 96.4. She is breathing kind of hard. Dr B gave her a shot and a different kind of med for infection.
While he was examing her he siad he felt something different in her chest than he had felt before. Something about the way she was breathing.
Sadie is usually pretty active but she just lays in one spot. She did that in the car (she usually gets in the back window) at the vet (she usually plays some with Dr B) and when we got home I sat her in the floor and she just stood there for awhile before she went ino the bathroom and she is laying on the rug in there. That is totally weird!
With Dr B worried it makes me more worried. It hasn't been all that long since I lost my beloved Ashley. I don't know what I will do if something happens to Sadie.
I know, I am a worrier. You give me a subject and I can find something to worry about and will continue to worry about it until I get something else to worry about.
Say a little prayer for my little Sadie. I want her to get better and have a long HEALTHY life llike Dallas (and Ashley had) has.

OH I Hope poor kitty gets better soon> We will ask God to heal the kitty and Make it well very soon and give you peace in the mean time. Lori
Oh, poor Sadie! I hope she is feeling much better very soon. You know, some of those meds, especially the shots, can make cats sick or just plain tired for a while. It may not look like it is helping at first, but try not to worry too much. When my cat, Daisy, gets her annual shots she lays around for 2 whole days! So, anyway, I hope you see improvement soon.....keep us posted!

Well I hope that everything turns out to be ok. You said that she was in the clear for feline leukemia? If so, thats great news!!! I had a kitty named prissy when i was a little girl, who died of that and it was devistating. I sure hope that Sadie gets to feeling better, and I know if she does then you will too.

I am so sorry to hear about Sadie being under the weather. I hope she gets to feeling better real soon. Prayers for you and Sadie.
Ooh, I know how disturbing & upsetting this can be. Has your vet thoroughly checked her over for urinary tract problems? (Is she drinking or just sitting perched over the water bowl? Is she trying to use the box a lot?) UTI & calculi can be notorious hard to diagnose; very non-specific symptoms. Try feeding her only broth (not too saltly) and maybe a raw egg for 24 hours. That won't hurt her if it's something else and clearing her of solid food for a bit might help. Jeez, I hope she starts feeling better soon. =( ¤Holly
Poor Saide! And poor you too! Bless your heart for caring for her the way you do! Hope she feels better soon. :-)
